Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Golfer Reviews
Course is OK
Course was ok. But there were a lot of leaves from the trees and making it hard to find the ball on some holes. Fairways are wide which helps if you slice or hook the ball. You can easily get to your ball. Staff was friendly. With all the courses choices around, I will probably not go back to this course until winter time.
Decent track
Plenty of brown out in the fairways. Couple of greens damaged by mower leak. Greens are kinda hard, but roll well. Still a good value. Pro shop and food stop at noon, shop closes up (during summer). Pace of play was good on a 10am tee time because of the heat. Played this track many, many times.
Driving the ball for a fare price
The course has a good lay out. The few items were not open at the course. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Usually better
First let me start by saying I love Union hills. CC. Love the track, love the playability. Usually I don't have any issues with this course. On this day, there was no ranger on the course. We did not know what was going on in front of us. But the 3 groups in front of us, apparently all friends were changing foursomes throughout the round. Most of the round, the group in front of us had 6 people! Then sometimes, 5 people, and sometimes 3 people. These 3 groups would interchange between themselves the whole day. Which made waiting on each tee box and after each shot very annoying. Aside from that, the only other issue I had was the greens was really fuzzy/hairy. So the greens themselves where inconsistent. I'm sure in time, they will come in...
Union Hills
Had such a fun time yesterday with the boys. We had NO ONE in front of us nor behind us. Gotta love summer time golf.
Summertime Go To Course
I have played Union Hills many times over the past several summers. It is one course that is typically in good condition over the summer months. Greens this past couple of weeks have been very firm and rolling great. Fairways have a few tough spots, but it's summer in AZ. Pace of play has been excellent teeing off between 8:30 - 9:30. Staff has always been friendly.
