Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

3.5 hour round
Played 18 in 3 and half hours! Nice course with some visual challenging tee shots. I didn’t like sharing a cart with a random person but they did have my name printed out which was a nice touch. Staff was very friendly
Great course and great value
Curse in great shape and pace of play really good.
Worth the money
Played as a single at 8 am. I was supposed to be playing with a 3 some, but they didn’t show. All of the greens but one were in good shape. Pace of play was great until my cart broke down on the 6th fairway. They delivered another cart, and everything was good. Played in 3 1/2 hours even with the cart breakdown. Overall, it’s a better than average course for a reasonable rate, especially during peak season. Even though I live in Scottsdale, I plan on playing it again this week. It’s worth the money and the drive.
Union Hills always a great value.
Course was in great condition- tee boxes nice and grassy, fairways cut well and minimal damage. Bunkers were good for a public course, no issue playing them. Greens rolled well but did have a couple small patches that weren’t true, but way better than most public. The pace of play was great for a Saturday at just over 4 hours. Beverage cart came around three times during the round as well as the turn having hot food ready to go, so A+ for service as well.
Union Hills
It’s a country club in retirement town U. S. A. Always has that ‘just maintained’ quality. I think the membership is more interested in the Friday night fish fry than keeping the track in top form. Nevertheless, it’s a decent layout and long enough for the big hitters.
Always a Nice Sun City Course
Love this course, I always try to play it when there’s a hot deal. Union hills and Palmbrook for some reason are always more expensive despite them being the same level of ‘quality’ as far as the course goes. That’s the only time it’s worth it to play either of these is a hot deal find, but that being said, great course and the greens were true and pace of play was normal.
Nice course for the money
We played Union Hills during a recent trip to Phoenix. 8 guys, ages 17-70, various levels of ability do we chose a course moderately priced. The guy in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful, as well as the guy managing carts. Interesting course, fairways and greens in very good shape; the rough was very rough. Overall a very good experience and would happily return.
