Good Course for all type of golfers
Came down from Philly for a few days,,,decided to play Arcadian Shores,, for the most part the course was in terrific shape,,grass was brown in certain spots but because it's February but other then that course was in great shape.I will definitely play this course again. Rates were pretty good,,,staff were nice,,, and it was a course for all type of players. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Beautifull layout
Beautiful layout very interesting hole, challenging water hazards, strategic sand traps, fairways on the slim side, but is winter conditions.
Staff was extremely rude.
Worst experience at a golf club in Myrtle beach, complete opposite of southern hospitality. Tee times were booked on top of one another. The starter on the first tee was a complete failure of a person. Never been spoken too and yelled at by someone like that ever on a golf course. With the tee times being on top of one another and the course allowing 8 somes to go out …the ranger was on everyone’s butts telling people to hurrry up even though there were groups in front clearly on the whole. The fairways were pretty much like hitting from the rough. Can’t bring beers on the course but there was no cart girl to offer beers. So made it even worse. Overall horrible horrible experience. I have many friends who golf and will be making sure they stay far away from this course
Great Round
We were first our (started in hole 10) so pace was not an issue until we caught up to a foursome on the last four holes (6-9). Still, it went smoothly. Loved the layout, mostly straight fairways with a handful of doglegs. Open fairways made for a fun round. Greens in really good shape.
Great layout
This course surprised me , not wat I expected it , course in great condition , greens were in great shape and the course layout was spot on
Nice layout very nice greens
Had a nice round today despite the conditions dictating the dreaded “cart path only”. Real nice greens. Unfortunately one of the two we had in our foursome spent most of the round on his phone resulting in unnecessary aggravation and distraction. I’ll definitely return next trip
Easy to Get to!
I have played this course twice and both times the course won! However, other that being tough for someone who doesn’t hit a long ball anymore it is a great layout. They had some overseeing of greens the day I played and so it was harder to judge speed for putts but it was still reasonable.
I’d play it again and I recommend it.
Sand for miles
Good experience as a single playing in a four ball.
Nice layout, straightforward with seeing everything in front of you. A lot of bunkers both in the fairway and especially around the greens. Found myself on a lot of upslope sand and under lips. No. 1 handicap hole is a downhill second shot carry over water that none of us made it over and neither did any of the group behind us. Take plenty of club, or more likely, hit it properly !!
Good fairways and greens, very fair layout.
Worth the price.
Nice course - good conditions- reasonable fees- right between Myrtle and North Myrtle
Course was in great shape considering all the rain has hampered mowing, greens were decent and probably much faster normally
