Golfer Reviews
Horrible
Showed up of two minutes before the teatime and they wouldn’t let us go off. Golf pro and the ranger in the shop was a real jerk. Course wasn’t packed and still wouldn’t let us go off
Great Value
1st time here. Staff was great- helpful, friendly. Nice range and practice area pre-round. Course was in good shape. Greens were excellent. One or two fairways were beat up but it’s also been ridiculously hot the last 2 weeks. Overall, nice course.
Good time !!!!
Had a great time. Made some new friends. Of course was in great shape. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you so much.
Nice course good price bad pace of play
I’ve played this course a few times since I moved down here. It’s always been very good but this last time the pace of play was absolutely awful 5 1/2 hours to get 18 holes in on the front line we were told the group in front of us was only doing nine holes and it should speed up once they’re done got to the bag nine it was just too slow even after those people were no longer golfing. 2 to 3 groups backed up on tea boxes very disappointing as far as that goes. Everything else was fine though.!
Great location
The course was very nice. The pace of play was on point. There was no hassle or rushing. I showed up a little late, so they put me with a group that was fun. The location was close to my Airbnb, which was cool. Overall, I would recommend this course to friends and family.
Horrible Conditions
It looks like they are doing work on this course, it should be free until they finish. All the greens has very high grass, the fairways are below average, but the good was, there’s no tough. A nice easy municipal course.
Worst fairways ever seen in Myrtle
Fairways totally unaccptable. Was at 2 other courses the same few days and they were in great condition. One was reiver hills. The grrens were in fine shape however at Arcadian but fairways extremely thin and yoou can see the dirt. Ball did not sit up . I was shocked.
Absolut trash
worst staff i’ve ever talked to very rude and ruined my time at the golf course would not recommend
Harassed for 8 straight holes
The old man n the golf cart followed us from hole 1 to hole 8 until I said something. He was constantly pushing us to move faster with not one single person behind us. We did not hold up a single golfer. Then we get to hole 10 and 4 drunk guys who cant begin to play golf held us up for 8 straight holes without a word being said to them, WE were told to pick up our balls and move on if WE held up anyone. I paid 300$ for 4 people to be harassed and made to feel unwelcome. I would not recommend this course to anyone. Ridiculous honestly. Between the unfriendly staff and crazy old man on the golf cart you can take this golf course and well..... keep it.
Great value
Great layout, gator sighting, good value, great location.
Nice course
The rules are amazing. Put your shoes on in the parking lot. No booze until 10 am. Watch put dor the gator holes . Greens were exceptional. The rest not so much. Cart guys were aggressive. We had nobody pushing us but the ranger informed us that the next two holes were open. We were playing as fast as we could. So we said thankyou very much.
Good value golfing experience
This early Rees Jones design appropriately challenges players’ putting and approach shot skills, yet fairways and tee boxes are player friendly for a wide range of skill levels.
Arcadian Shores
Overall good golf course. A few challenging holes mixed in with a few scoring holes as well. Driver and 3 wood friendly with a few holes you had to work the golf ball. Greens weren’t fast but consistent. Tee boxes needed to be cut. All in all great course for the price.
Needs some grass
Greens were punched one week ago. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are ridiculously thin. Slowest greens east of the Mississippi. It’ll be better if the grass grows back in.
Quality
When you go to a quality run venue you know it from the time you pull up to the bag drop throughout your play the 19 hole to your load out. This is what I experienced at
Arcadian Shores. It was a great afternoon of golf!
