Typical SoCal course
Pace of play usually isn’t too bad. The other day though there was a long line at the 18th. The tee boxes are basically rough and the rough is well, not sure what to call it.
Great course
My first time here had a blast and will definitely go back for sure.
By far the best blue collar golf around
I have played many courses for both high school, college and and scga junior tournaments and this course is still my favorite, because I don’t worry about how much it cost. When I’m playing single I can play 2-3 balls on a weekday and still keep pace of 4:15-4:30. For less than an hours wage this course is a steal and still challenging.
Pay Attention to the Rate
Pay attention to the rate: it's for walking. I had to pay another 15 for the cart, so the deal wasn't nearly as good as I thought. The course is better than the last time that I played there; however, it still needs work. There are many sections that are too overgrown and have odd bounces, and balls are lost even though they are played down the fairway. It's a quick course. Even though we waited at almost every hole, it only took a little over four hours.
Fun Golf
Short game accuracy is critical just like any other course. I didn’t have, but I thoroughly enjoyed walking it for $46 on a weekend. If you walk, avoid playing it when it’s hot. We went off at 9:15 with a nice breeze. Overall, a great day!!! :)
Cart fee is too expensive
They allure the players with walking golf fee , but they charge $ 15-$16 per person for the cart.
Always fun, but slow
A nice course, reasonably priced - but oh, so slow. Be prepared for 5 hours plus.
Marshal
Marshal should enforce high handicappers to play forward tee box. Frustrating to watch someone playing from the Blue tee box and hitting ball 20 ft.
A nice return
Had not played the course in a while and found the conditions to be nice. The greens were hard to ready with some being fast and others slow. For a last minute reservation we enjoyed ourselves.
Amen to that!!!
