Fun in the sun

Great day with my 6:33 tee time just a few minutes over 3 hrs we had a 3 some of ladies behind us that were walking they were like robots my 2 some in a cart was able to keep ahead without rushing just a great round. Tee box’s were a bit ruff but with the amount of players using this GC it was par for the course… lol

POST-STORM RECOVERY #01

Recent weather from about 3x months ago hit FULLERTON very hard. Considering this the course was in very good shape and improving! Its greens were PERFECT - ball speed was near-perfect Fairways were decent - 12th hole needs some work! TEE Boxes were also decent. Not sure WHY the snack bar was not OPEN, but that did upset me! Overall, a decent course with a friendly staff!

Walked

Good value...if you walk

I like this place. It's a short 18 holes, par 67. If you walk it's $33. Tack on another ~$25 for cart. There's usually decent morning tee times available which is key. The greens are better than the impressions you get from the condition of the fairways. There are a few holes where it's really easy to lose a ball if you don't have a lot of control on that particular day. But all in all, you get what you pay for here...unless you ride a cart. Then its a little pricey for what you get.

Good value and a good test

Overall good condition though the overgrown clover in the rough loses a lot of balls that you should be able to find. A good test with some tight fairways, elevated greens, etc.

Golf Day

A friend and I booked the course because we saw it was fairly priced on golf now. Before you book understand that unless you are walking that’s not the price you are going to pay. The cart fee alone is 30 bucks is kinda crazy for this course. The pace is super slow due to a lot of walkers as well, and a group in front of us were hitting multiple balls each. The course has no beverage cart and the greens are kept in ok conditions. Personally there are better courses for the money in the area.

Enjoyable play

Despite recent heavy rains leaving the fairways on the 1st hole quite soggy and muddy, making some spots nearly unplayable, my overall experience at Fullerton Golf Course was quite satisfying. The greens, thankfully, remained in solid condition throughout. Despite the recent rains, the rest of the course was well-maintained. The layout was also pretty fun and had some challenging holes. Overall, aside from the soggy start on the 1st hole, the course conditions were pretty good overall and I really enjoyed playing here. It was my first time coming here and would definitely come back. The price was solid also.

Fairways in poor conditions

Recent rains have resulted in many of the fairways being flooded and requiring players to use cart paths only. My 4 some was walking and even then it was a mess to get to the ball, which was buried in mud on many fairways.

Range was also closed on Saturday 2/24/24, agin due to rain.

Played here many times but this round was the first in 3 or. 4 years. It’s cheap to play but you get what you pay for. Tread carefully.

Not worth

Rude staff and conditions are terrible. Very slow pace. You get what you pay for! Much better courses in the area.

Walked

Best bang for your buck

If you're frugal like me, this is the course for you. It's narrow and challenging and the greens are are hard to read. Use your driver sparingly and you'll have a good round. The course has changes in elevation, but it's walkable.
