Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Great course
Can be challenging, but golf isn’t easy lol. Love this course.
Jurupa Hills is in good shape
I play JH a few times a year and the course was in very good condition. For a Sunday morning pace of play was very acceptable. I appreciated the organization - Tee off groups were announced frequently so no stress around getting going. For an average golfer like me I think the Billy Bell track is challenging but mostly fair.

Overbooked and rude cashier
First food cart staff were great. Asked clubhouse person if there was a big backup and all he said was they are fully booked. That’s not what I asked. Well it was stacked 3 deep. Really a plain golf course - nothing memorable. Having to pay the price we did with the amenities that were not in the best of shape and wait on every freaking hole - well it’s bling worth it.
Worth the visit
Jurupa Hills isn't a tremendously long course, but it is tight! Bring your straightest shots or you'll be in the trees (I certainly enjoyed some bark). The layout is well thought out for a shorter course. Good undulation and a couple of doglegs. Greens were smooth. Bunkers were consistent. Fairways had some thin areas, but a quick bump made it ok. I'd definitely play here again if I was in the area.
Inconsistent Greens
I played this coursemany times before. This time the greens speeds are very inconsistent in speed.
Fairways with bumpers
First off the greens are phenomenal. Plus on a couple holes. the fairways are basically laid out to have anything hit close roll back to the middle of the fairways. Bunkers were nice and loose so it didn’t feel like trying to cut concrete. I would say hole 18 par 3 was my favorite.
Overall review
Everything was great except for the fact that the electricity lines run over the course.
Very Slow. Way overbooked again
I left after almost 5 hours through 16. Could see 3 foursomes backed up hole ahead. Always waiting and extremely slow. They need to start thinking about the experience and not just the $. Obviously way overbooking. This happened to me the last time also. They had a tournament and delayed my tee time an hour. Finally did start on the back 9. . Then started on 1 and on 3 way backed up again so replayed back 9 and then just left early. I will not be coming back.
Fairways Need Work
The two par fives on the back nine still need a lot og work on the fairways.
