Jurupa Hills Country Club
About
Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Fairways Need Work
The two par fives on the back nine still need a lot og work on the fairways.
Poor management
We had to wait 30 more minutes to go tee off. Apparently overbooked, not enough cart, staffs were not nice, they just said you wait or whatever ..
Not a good experience
A love and hate course.
Course in good condition. Tee off was 6:53 so no traffic at all. Once we hit the turn around 8:45, there were so many people waiting to tee off. Course has many trees so stay in the fairway. Greens in good condition. Tee box can use some help. Staff very friendly.
Decent course
I enjoyed playing this course for the first time. My twosome got paired up with a couple of singles and one of them had played here before so he had some insights.
An old gem!
My friends and I had never played this course and were pleasantly surprised. It had an old-school appeal which many of us find attractive on our golf outings. The course was relatively forgiving but still challenged us enough to select the right club more times than not. Pace of play was better than expected for a Sunday tee time.
Pace of play
Wife and I have played 25 rounds or so here and it's one of our favorite courses, close to home, fair price. But the last 3 visits the pace of play has been ridiculous. Last time was 4 hrs to play 12 holes. We left. Time before that was 3.5 for 9 and so we replayed the front 9
Very Nice afternoon at Jurupa Hills
I ply JH about once a year - the course was in pretty good shape (better than previous time there) and pace of play was pretty good - played as a single and played through two friendly groups and completed in 3.5 hours. Weather was outstanding for a January SoCal golf afternoon. Staff was excellent
I find the Billy Bell course relatively easy, if you are hitting straight, which i was blessed to be yesterday. If not you can find yourself in much trouble and losing balls and putting up big numbers
I'll be back!
Narrow fairways - good feature
Friendly place. Technical course. Played 4 times with a month
Good value, course in nice condition
Overall very good value for the price, course was in good shape. Greens were true and a little quick which was challenging and fair. Fairways mostly good turf, some bare areas along sides.
Slow pace of play could be improved with a marshal on the course to courteously advise players to keep moving and try for a 4 to 4.5 hr. round. Front 9 was fine, but at # 11 tee box there were 2 groups waiting. We rode past #11 and the rest of the back 9 had groups waiting, same back-up. A marshal present would be an appropriate step to give everyone a good experience.
