Good Layout, Terrible Conditons
The worst condition course I've ever played on. I liked the layout, lots of woods, shade, and holes are spread out well. But that is the only good things. The course is in terrible condition. Would not play here.
3 golf carts!
1st cart died before we could get to the first tee box.
2nd cart went down in the 8th fairway.
3rd cart survived the rest of the round.
We called the club house and they were very apologetic. They brought another one for us and towed the broken down cart back.
Greens were small and in extremely rough shape, some roughly 50% burnt out and weeds growing in all of them. Very little chance of making anything that's not a tap in.
Value round
Rough patches here and there, but overall it's a reasonable value for the price
Pinetuck
Greens need help very patchy with dirt and weeds. Course over watered everything was soggy wet. Cart path needs lots of work non existant in some places its just dirt.
Still open?
I'm surprised this place is still open. It has had no money put into it in years and it would seem they don't have anyone that knows how to take care of a golf course working there. The fairways and tee boxes are both overgrown and lacking grass in places. There is no definition between the fairways and the rough on most holes and the greens or what's left of the greens are so soft that balls plug in them while the rest of the green is hard and baked and looks like a desert. Carts are in bad shape and couldn't make the full 18 holes. Paid 25 and still felt like I over paid.
Needs Major Maintenance
This course is in extremely poor conition. From sandless sandtraps, to thick weedy roughs, to burned out greens. The cart I drove sputtered the entire back nine and the cart path was ruts in many places. This course would discourage any level of golfer,
Needs Maintenance
For the $20 price or cheaper I would go again. Majority of the holes have dirt patches. The fields grass was tall and difficult time tracking balls in the open. Friendliness and easy tee time set up was the one spot light.
Arguably the worst course in America
This course is almost hilariously bad. The greens looked like a dried riverbed, so the claim that they’re some of the best is pure insanity. My cart just randomly died on the 8th hole and I had to walk back to get a new one. There’s more cigarette butts than there is grass. You almost have to play this course just to put yours in perspective. Seriously this place needs new management. It could be a great course but clearly nobody cares to upkeep this place. Charging any amount of money is insane. This course should be free, or we should be paid to play it.
