Golf review
Third time I have played this course. A lot of damage to the greens. The course was worth the money I spent.
Cheap round. Horrible greens. Sink holes everywhere.
Worst greens I’ve ever played - our group ended up having a 2 putt max because the greens were essentially unplayable: some were soaking wet, many were muddy, your ball would bounce and turn off line, patches of different types of grass made true lines impossible to hold. We wanted to play the blue tees but one the first tee box there was a dead possum, so we moved to the white tees to avoid the horrendous smell of its rotting dead body. Also beware of sink holes on the fairways and cart path - you can seriously injure yourself if you mistakenly fall in one of the dozens of sink holes. The club house still smells like cigarettes from when they obviously used to smoke indoors. It was a fun day because we were able to laugh everything off, but everyone agreed it was the worst conditions anyone had seen in their lifetime.
Nice hot Day, well kept Course
Despite heat wave, course was green and in good shape. Obvious sprinkling/ Played at our own pace. Great price. All around great day of golf
Course is not in good condition
It is very unfortunate that this course which has a lot of potential is in such bad shape. From tee box to fairways to greens nothing has been maintained
Exceptional
Really like the course, a lot better shape than most right now. Great value and friendly staff!!! Will be back!!
AVOID this course....
Where do I begin...
1. No golf carts available for a 1:44pm round after I checked in and paid. Finally they got me a cart and it had no breaks. Had to use this for 14 holes until it went dead.
2. No starter. 3 groups literally on the 1st tee box waiting to go out.
3. When we asked to start on the back 9 due to the known backup, the pro shop said no.
4. Several two-somes that were not paired up created slow pace of play.
5. I have literally seen cow pastures that are better then the front 9. From tee boxes, fairways, to greens. Back 9 was in far better shape but still less ideal for this time of year
6. The tee boxes on almost every hole need a ton of work.
Wow!
Don’t play this course if your looking for a level green. The tee boxes haven’t been maintained and fairways weren’t great either. If playing this course for the first time, their is nothing on the tee box or the score card to tell you the layout of the hole. Also the carts weren’t cleaned and our brakes didn’t work. If they put some care into this course, it would be great. I only payed $26 on tee off and I feel that was overpriced for the conditions of this course.
Seriously bad condition
I grew up in Pinetuck and I remember it being a nice course...it’s changed owners a few times since...this course is in horrible condition...I think I saw 4 sand traps with actual sand in it...the fairways are pretty much dried up and mostly brown and the greens are sad...they didn’t have range balls for us to hit and suggested if we went and picked some up we could hit them at no charge...I thought $25 was a deal but wasn’t worth it
Go play elsewhere
Place is a dump. Didn’t even have enough golf carts to send people out on time. Would have had more fun hitting balls in a cow pasture
