Nice Course, Poor Greens
The course was nice and fairways fairly well maintained. But the greens were in very poor condition, which was surprising given that the description said the course was known for its nice greens.
Decent Price, but don’t expect much
Greens are gone... appears a fungus took over. Cart patch’s look like they’ve been decimated by land mines. Friendly staff tho.
Last trip
Course has gone down hill. Carts are in terrible shape but only to be outdone by the horrible cart paths. They are dangerous. Tee boxes are well-maintained Fairways are in good shape with the greens have been completely fried. The majority of the greens aren't even worth putting on. We paid 20 bucks a head to go and I still think we over paid
Course was in great shape early in the season but it is gone downhill really quick please spend your money elsewhere
Just Don’t
It’s pretty much a cow pasture minus the cows. I would recommend closing for at least a season to do much needed maintenance. It has potential ,but like anything else it won’t maintain itself.
This Course is Not What You Are Looking For!
Played here for the first time, I felt like I took a trip back in time. Also, felt like I was playing a golf course that closed down 2 months ago and everything was abandon. The golf cart hardly worked. The course itself was hardly maintained. Trash everywhere around tee boxes. The greens oh my word, awful. I don’t think they’ve watered that course in 3 years.
Sorry but this is the honest truth. It may seem like a “value” course. But there are plenty of other “value” options around to go play.
You couldn’t pay me to go back.
Nice layout but needs work
Layouts good but greens are terrible on 80% or more of the course. Everything else is just okay. I’ve played here a few times but this time was least enjoyable. Went during GN hot deal so $25 for 18 you pay for what you get
Wow
I have played this course for years and always enjoyed it for the value. I took two years off and was shocked at how bad the conditions have gotten. There was black tar on all the greens, water all over the course, washed out bridges, the carts were completely jacked up, the cart paths were washed out, ponds leaking into the fairways and more. I felt bad for bringing my friends.
Needs work
Course has a good lay out but needs work. Greens have quite a few bad areas from either too much water or too much heat, Staff is friendly, carts are in pretty bad shape and not kept very clean which gave us concerns due to COVID. My wife and I enjoyed our round and were able to play 18 holes in a little over 3 hours. Price was reasonable but it should be in lieu of conditions and carts.
Etiquette
It is bad enough when foursomes do not let twosomes through even when they have they lost a ball any held the twosome up on every shot
Got through them at the turn and would you believe the next issue was a fivesome who also held us up on each shot and would also not let us through.
The game of golf is killing itself because of the time it takes to play 18 holes and we do not need further complications like the abovr
Lots of potential, but no effort
Not sure what was worse, the conditions of the golf carts or the greens. You could literally count every time the hole was moved because there was no care given afterwards. Garbage everywhere. Cutting fairways in the middle of the day while people are playing through. Several damaged cart paths and cave ins (instead of repairing, you were sinply rerouted though the grass or woods). Having said all that, the course itself has a ton of potential. The back 9 is by far better than the front with lots of wooded areas and water features. This could be a 5 star course if any professional care was given to it. If someone was looking to invest in a course to flip for profit, this would be a good one.
