best condition Pinetuck ever in
at $34 you cant beat the price. Typically Pinetuck has good greens in the springtime. Course was in best condition I have seen in 5 yrs. (college trnament the day we played). Also course allowed us to continue to play after I mis-read to tee time date and got us on ahead to the tournament. Had the course to ourselfs. Great day!!
Challenging Par 3's
Greens in nice conditions, I can not say the same for tee boxes and bunkers.Average Fairways for winter. Good course for the money paid
Great staff
The course can be a little worse for wear, but for the price it's great. There are also a lot of fun memorable holes on this course. There is zero snobbery at this course and the staff are all very friendly.
You can do better
I paid $34 to play and it should have been $20. The clubhouse is a shack that has random stuff just laying around and is straight out of 1993. If you are a serious golfer then you can do better for your dollar. Pretty much avoid this place at all costs.
Great Value
Greens were very inconsistent. Some super fast, some snail-pace slow. Fairways, and tee boxes in decent shape for this time of year. The lure of this course is the great value in pricing. Additionally, it's wide open, but still challenging with long par 3's and lots of movement in the greens.
Too many leaves but overall, an interesting and well-kept course.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
1ST TIME AT THIS COURSE THE FRIDAY AFTER THANKSGIVING, COURSE IS IN DECENT SHAPE, MOST LEAVES ARE CLEANED UP WHICH IS DIFFICULT THIS TIME OF YEAR, GREENS ARE GOOD, A TAD FAST BUT CHALENGING AND CONSISTANT, A WIDE VARIETY OF HOLES WITH A CHALENGE FOR MOST ANY LEVEL OF GOLF
Very enjoyable fall golf experience for the price.
We were greeted immediately by the pro shop manager and sent right out to our cart, and within 10 minutes of our arrival were on the first tee. Parties were well spaced out so that we neither waited nor had others breathing down our necks. I was especially pleased with the condition of the greens and the trueness of the roll I was able to achieve while putting. Our only "complaint" is that our cart did not seem to be fully charged, and when we switched after the front, the next one was even worse. This was probably just our bad luck as the guy we joined on with seemed to have a fully charged cart. Otherwise, it was a terrific fall day on the links.
Great Course but backed up
Pinetuck is a great country course but almost every time I play here there is slow play. Otherwise the course is a challenging.
Seriously?
I'm not sure that there is anything good to say about this course. The greens are terrible, can't remember playing a course with greens in such terrible condition. The holes are labeled.........the labels are built into the ground, so you cannot see them until you approach the tee box. My guess is that this course is great for locals in the Rock Hill area because that is all they have.
