Pinetuck Golf Course

The fairway and greens were not well maintained at all, with lots of weeds and crabgrass on the greens themselves. The golf cart was out of alignment and the cart path was terrible, with potholes and some sections completely collapsed.

This course definitely needs some love but it’s a great place to learn to play or try out some new things you been practicing. If you catch the course on a mowing day the rough and fairway are decent. If not it will be hard to find your ball. Some greens look great some need a lot of help. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Test out your cart before leaving as many of them are broken and need repair.

Course layout is great and has many challenging holes. This place will test your skills

This place won’t win many awards but it is a great place to have a very stress free round with friends

This was my first time playing this course and I was somewhat disappointed with the overall appearance of the facility as well as the greens. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The course is being allowed to deterate little by little.

The fairway is nonexistent the entire plot of land is just weeds. The greens are god awful. There’s tons of spaces on the greens where it has just been eaten away. They completely over water the greens so that it gives speed to your putts since the grass is so bad. Our car shield wasn’t even on our cart, they just placed a piece of plastic over the front and called it a day. Definitely is not worth $40 and probably closer to $10. Beware

Played pine tuck. Layout of course is nice and course plays pretty hard on the back with lots of water. If this course was kept up it could be great. Golf carts are old and not in good shape. Tee boxes in poor shape. Most greens in tough shape as well. Fairways ok. Basically it’s a $30 course and you get what you pay for. Not bad for the money but could be great.

It was a warm summer’s morning when my son and I made the trek to the Gem of Rock Hill, Pinetuck Golf Club. Our excitement for a challenging, vigorous round of golf was met by an interesting clubhouse layout, albeit accompanied by friendly and helpful staff. Once we checked in, we set out for the first tee, where we hit the ball so well we couldn’t tell if the balls on the fairway were ours or the range balls from the adjacent driving range with no tees. Once we finished this marvelous hole, we continued our front nine featuring dead grass on the greens and tight windows between the tee box and the fairway.

The back nine was challenging, including a surprise 50 yard water hazard we could not see until we had already lost our ball. All told we lost over 20 balls thanks to the extreme conditions of this course. We ended the day as we started, excited to be in the car. While we may not come back, this course could be magnificent if the greens are properly addressed and the rough is taken care of.

Great course for price. The greens was in fantastic condition. Couple bad spots in fair ways/rough but overall great condition. I will definitely be back again
