Sierra Lakes Golf Club

Sierra Lakes is a fairly open track that is kept in reasonably good shape. The fairways are not lush, but they are very playable, with few bare spots,. The rough is not terribly punishing. The greens are true and moderately fast. The traps, which are present but not overwhelming, leave something to be desired, as very firm areas alternate with soft areas, but again, they are a little better than average for the IE. There is almost no water to worry about. Food/drink amenities are poor. Biggest issue: If you are looking for any management at all of playing speed of the players around you, this isn't your kind of course. Several very slow foursomes in front of us went unchallenged, and it became a 5 hour round when it really didn't have to be.

Course is in really good condition. Tee boxes are all great except the pa r 3’s (of course). Greens were running a little slow but overall nice. Fairways were in good condition the ball was running out nicely. Got to play by myself at 1:30pm as hardly anyone was there. Ended up having to wait a little on the back 9 but still finished under 4 hours. The breeze helped it from being super hot overall would definitely recommend to play during the week as the weekend rates could be steep.

This course used to be really well maintained. For the upgrade in fees to play this course is not worth it. This place better watch it or it will become a digger course. Marshals need to push the rate of play. No cart girl. Range not maintained always have to hit off the mats now. I would rather spend 150.00 a round then play here anymore. To many grounds keep in the way and doing work during a round.

Very fun layout, good course. Greens are fast and challenging. Will definitely go again!

The course was in excellent condition, pace of play was very good and staff was friendly and helpful we had a very enjoyable day.

The course is absolutely awesome let's get that out of the way. Fairways and greens are in great condition. The only reason i can't give 5 stars is because we booked the second tee times of the day at 5:53 am Sunday 5/19. No one showed up to the pro shop until almost 630 am. There was at least 6 groups that all had to start late at their tee times which for 116$ a person, I find to be unprofessional and unseen in my experience.

Always a great experience here. This is one of my favorite tracks. Never disappoints with conditions and pace. I have played here multiple times and you get the same experience every time. If you have never played here, do yourself a favor and book Sierra Lakes ⛳️ you will not regret it!!

This is a nice course with a challenging but fair layout. The pace of play was awesome today. We finished in just under 4 hours- which rarely happens anymore.

Fairways were nicely filled in and the bunkers had consistent sand. The greens were smooth and rolled true.

Great course, played here growing up but the prices are too much they need to come down. I payed $74 to play at 9:00am middle of the week. It should be like $55 or $60.

On top of that they did add a 9 hole rate but there is still no walking rate! This course would benefit the community of golfers that like to walk and play golf, plus saving them money from a cart fee!

Secondly there are still no practice putting holes in the practice putting green, they still have the stick flags from Covid, it’s like why haven’t you gone back to original way because all other golf courses are back to normal.

Lastly the range is still on mats and they have not went back to grass. Let’s see if we can get this management to fix these discrepancies and make Sierra lakes better!!

Great track for the money. It was overcast and breezy. Started round around 12 and finished around 4:45, so pace of play was slower than I would prefer. Group ahead was slow. I have been here a few times and there hasn't been a cart girl. Not sure if that only happens on weekends. Overall a good track for the money.

I was afraid it may be too windy. My round started at 3PM. Wind was moderate. Pace of play was ok. Wish the marshal would have been around to push the group ahead of us. Wind started to pick up later towards the end of the round. Weather was great (in the low 80's) Overall a nice track for the $$$
