Sierra Lakes Golf Club

I have reviewed this course before, and it was a very measured review. Experiences weren't great and was disappointed....This review is for my recent round. The course is in very good shape after all the rain and the greens were slick which was great. All the bunkers have clearly been groomed since all the rain. They were in perfect condition and played perfectly fair...The staff here is hit and miss. The starters are always cool and friendly. Typically the pro shop people aren't friendly. Often I feel like Im buying something from a liquor store rather than checking in for golf..There was a Marshall on the course and he checked in with us 2x to check on the pace of play, which was great! We tee'd off around 8:30 on a Sunday. We finished in 4 hours 50 minutes. Thats a long round, but comparative to other courses, that's very good time for a Sunday. They still don't have actual holes on the putting green, which nobody there can explain. But all in all, the -'s are minor and the +'s made it a great round. I WILL definitely be back to play here again.

The course was in great condition and the pace was nice.

Love the layout. Really nice course design. My only complaint is that there are a number of holes where the fairways need some serious work.

Sierra lakes is always my back up to Oak Quarry 🪨. I was really impressed with how fast the greens were and how little ball marks there were. Course was in really good condition. I’ve been playing here for seven years and it is in about the best condition I’ve seen. I highly recommend!

Local but my first time playing exceptional staff perfect playing conditions

I love Sierra Lakes Golf Course the tee boxes are great fairways roll out the rough is tough the greens roll on line with speed just a dreamy layout every hole is so fun 79 from Black tees this is my go to for a great round!Thank You S.L.

Inspite of the amount of rain. Most parts of the course weathered it. Greens were very nice. Some parts were soaked, understandable. But 18 was flooded! Had a temporary pin in the middle of the fairway😆.

Played right after two days of heavy raining, fairway are muddy and not constant with grass. The bunkers are full of water like pool.

Had a nice round before all the rain came in. Greens were the best I’ve seen them in years. Ball rolled true and fast. Not as many ball marks as usual. Course was in great shape.
