Sierra Lakes Golf Club

Had a good day at Sierra Lakes, the pace was a little slow but not to bad took us 5 hours to play our round. Folks need to be realistic when choosing which tees to hit from. The group in front of us chose to play the blues and they struggled from there but over all had a good time. Meet some nice guys that played with us.

2 cart backup at each hole. If they are going to shorten the time between starts, then they need a (better) marshal. Didn’t see a marshal once.

Surprisingly nice course. Fairways were large enough to add forgivenes, but if you wanted to get agressive with driver the fairways get tighter with bunkers. Surprised the bunkers were so fluffy minus some wet sand, not used to that in a southern california course at this price point. Putting was extremely challenging as speeds increased as the day went and some reads were counterintuitive. Good course for sure.

AS far as hot deals go, it is great. Regular weekday price is pretty stupid. It's not that good. That said, fairways are terrific as are the greens. A great challenging golf course. Shop for a better deal than their daily rate.

Last time I’ll be throwing away my money at this course. Absolutely shameful course management with packed tee times and overpacked course. Waiting 15+ minutes behind 3 groups of foursomes every single hole on the back. Couldn’t stand having a five and a half hour round and forced to leave early without finishing. “Marshall’s” ride around on carts not doing a single thing. Pathetic.
