Sierra Lakes Golf Club

It was really gusting for 3/4s of the round. Teed off at 1015a. Everything in great shape, greens played quick. Most Par 3s are over water and a handful of greens going uphill.

All and all a very fun round, will definitely come back later in Spring when conditions might be a bit more favorable.

Too bad of the course location…..

WINDY WINDY always an issue

Was 1st out in the morning so pace of play was good until we caught up to a large tournament that had some groups starting on the back nine. No driving range on Mondays and you have to hit off mats every other day, so it's not worth it for range balls.

For being a fairly short open course the pace of play was absolutely horrific. Three to four foursomes backed up waiting on tee boxes. A round that should take 4 hours took 6 and a half hours. Not one marshal was on the course. Other groups were playing multiple balls. I Will never play here again until this problem is resolved.

Love this course and everyone is friendly. However, their management needs to look into the punctuality of their proshop employees especially on early tee times. This is the second time that the proshop employee was late. The proshop was still closed at 0630 am. The starter had to take care of business checking in people because the employee was not there on time. With golf, time is golden. And the staff working those mornings were shaking their head because the proshop employee was again late.

Looking forward to when course is back to pristine shape.

Greens and tee boxes are in good shape. The fairways are a little yellow and patchy but no bad. Totally playable and fun. We had a good time.

The course was in fairly good shape having bunkers with plenty of sand. The course dose leave opportunity for birdies with a solid approach but don't think it's an easy putt. Greens where running on the faster side leaving tricky putts from any distance. One draw back is no chipping or bunker practice area just a putting green and driving range. On the practice putting green is they had no cups punched , so you could only get a little feel of the speed of the green.

No cart lady the entire round and no bar service when we arrived.

Decent course for the $50 I paid on Golfnow. Not worth much more. Fairly easy no real trouble. Sand in bunkers was not compacted.

Hard to review any course when the winds are blowing 30-40mph !!

We went anyway- cause we are nuts. Fun day- but putts were almost impossible as the ball would roll on its own.

This course and staff are always top notch.
