CrossCreek Golf Club

About
Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Good fun.
First time playing here after reading many positive reviews. The course layout is very nice, staff is super friendly. The starter gave me the on course basics, local rules and a few tips. A few generous fairways but shot placement is at a premium. The only negative was the pace of play. We had a fivesome in front of us with two ladies. So the guys would all hit their tee shots then drive to the ladies tees for two more tee shots. Almost 5 hours on a Thursday is a bit much in my opinion. Overall fun day and a great course.
Nice course, but…
This would have been a great course, but the conditions were just okay. Punched greens, which wasn’t mentioned at time of booking or at check in. Always disappointing to find out once you walk up to the first green.
Serene atmosphere
The course was the same as I expected. It was very serene and warm because it is situated in a valley along a gentle hill. I could feel the soft breeze deeply penetrating the valley from the distant ocean. I felt very comfortable in the course. I love this course and strongly recommend it to my acquaintances.
Beautiful course
Only issue is no phone reception, which might not be a bad thing necessarily unless there is an emergency. Lots of wild life, loved it! Can’t wait to come back.
Pristine Golf In De Luz
I've been playing Cross Creek Golf for many years. Course is in great shape and pro shop folks are the best!
Fun back 9 but there are much better values
Booked a tee time not knowing they were hosting a tournament. All resources were dedicated to the tournament and pace of play was absurdly slow. It was almost a 6 hour round. Really felt like customer experience today for paying players didn’t really matter because of the trournament. If you can’t provide a good customer experience and host a tournament then don’t offer the tee times. Course condition was disappointing for a $100 round. Tee boxes not cut and not flat. Disappointed because I was really looking forward to playing here. Nice people working there though. I thoight the back nine from a course design perspective was really fun actually. I wish I could have played without waiting 15 minutes on every hole. I drove 45 minutes to this course and there are nicer and less expensive courses close to home.
Paradise
I was looking for someplace new for golf and found Cross Creek. It said it was in Temecula, and I thought, why not. So I booked a tee time. This course in in the hills west of Temecula, quite a ways out of town. As I drove up I thought, wow what a beautiful area! The course is beautiful and challenging. The best part was how peaceful and secluded it is. Nothing to distract you from playing your best and most enjoyable round of golf! Great place for golf, I highly recommend it!
Great Course in SoCal!
This is a great, tough course. Great value for money compared to other courses in the area and in San Diego. I would highly recommend playing here.
This course is looking great
Fairways and greens were well maintained. Greens were challenging and pace of play was excellent this visit. 10/10
Great course!
Experience from start to finish was great. Starter was very nice. Starter was very nice, putting greens are great, All the staff was friendly. I will be trying to make it out more often.
Must Play !
A+ Track! Layout, design, condition, amenities all exceeded expectations. I will return and recommend.
Early morning round
Played early morning and couldn’t even see the fairway until the back 9 when the sun came out. Maybe should not offer tee times or let groups out the early. Booked through golf now so last minute cancellation was not an option. I was paired with a good group and we made the best of things.
Awesome
Very nice challenging course. Beautiful grounds, great staff. JJ at the bar was awesome. Highly recommend
Great Conditions
Course was in the greatest shape pace of play was great staff was helpful and friendly can’t wait to come back
Southern California Hidden Gem
My route to Cross Creek (from Riverside County) takes me down a dirt road that straddles a short mountainside although there are paved roads that lead to the same entrance. I usually play early morning rounds during the weekdays and I will say I haven’t yet found a course in such great condition for such a reasonable coin. The course lay out is so much fun, nothing really tedious or insurmountable. Some tight fairways, a few ponds here and there and some of the best views on a course you can find. The staff from the pro shop to the starters to the groundskeepers are ALL professional and courteous. Would highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a meaningful round that wont break the bank. Driving range has mats AND grass. Putting green in great shape and cart paths not all beat up. One of my top three in Southern California.
