Course was in horrible condition. Half the greens had grown weeds, and some had huge divots from water runoff. Overwatered in multiple areas and equipment had run through the areas leaving huge ditches in the fairways. Tee boxes overgrown, rough areas were super high weeds. Was attached by ants on multiple fairways.

If you’re looking for cheap golf ( $60) this one is mediocre. Don’t have high expectations when playing here.

Sorry but the conditions are the worst i have seen in 20 years

This course used to be really good. Don’t waste your money or time.

Played here for the first time in about a year or so and back then, the course was quirky and in average shape, so I met a friend to try it again. Bad mistake. From an unorganized starter, to thick crabgrass and overgrown tee boxes, to plenty of muddy bare spots, mowed grass piles in the fairways and diseased greens- it was a rough track and a complete waste of money and time. .

This course is in the worst condition I have seen in a very long time. And it’s not just because of the grass being burned it’s that they refuse to mow the fairways.

Course conditions are horrible almost unplayable. For the money you can play at any other course nearby and have a much better day. I honestly felt like I wasted my money playing here and will never play here again. Honestly, it looks like they’re not too far off from going out of business.

What’s happened is severe course service neglect has resulted in a once very nice serviced course into a dry not mowed or cleaned up piece of crap. Fairways are either waste dry or muddy wet dirt along with unmowed clover areas snd neglected tee boxes.

Gotta be ownership lack of spending money for service equipment and labor .

So don’t waste your money and time….

Hit a really good driver onto fairway and could not find my ball. That basically sums it up. Not maintained at all tee boxes are full of grass. Will never play here again.

I've golfed here many times. I called to book through the course and it was $70 so I booked a golfnow deal for $40.

I've never seen the course in this bad of shape. overgrown everywhere, tee boxes beat up, greens have major dead spots, fairways with little to know green grass

Staff was great everyone was awesome the facilities were great also bathroom restaurant ect. But the course itself probably the worst fairways, greens, bunkers ect ect and I live near whispering lakes golf course and I still occasionally will play there and enjoy it. Whispering lakes course conditions are amazing compared to here. Could be a really nice course if they can get grass on the fairways and get rid of what ever is attacking the greens. Looks like it has fungus or plant infection is the only way I can describe it on areas of the greens.

Hadn’t been to this course in years. Feel bad for giving a bad review, cause the staff is awesome and golf carts are really nice. However I was shocked, the course was in really poor condition. Almost all of their greens look like they have been driven over, are covered with dirt, and/or are brown and dead all over. For $89 a person and it being a country club I had higher expectations, not to mention I had golfed here before, and was pretty suprised. Was excited to go back and golf there but was disappointed by the course conditions. I typically golf for around the same price in Oceanside/escondido, and those courses are in much better condition.

Most greens had major upkeep needs. Most ofThe fairways were flooded and muddy. Grass clippings over the entire course. Tee boxes were over grown. Would not recommend out play here again.

Course needs a ton of work and repairs. Overpriced for the course conditions. It looked as if it was a beautiful course at one time. Now’s it’s in sad, sad shape. Needs mowed, bare patches all over the place.

All I have to say is make sure you stay on the Fairway! Golf course needs some up keep. Some areas are flooded so don’t get stuck!

Legends used to be a beautiful course. Previously known as Temeku....I once felt the course was above my play grade....unfortunately the course has been down managed to the point where some greens are nearly unplayable and some portions of the course remind you of a municipal course. Yellowing grass, water drainage destroying greens and fairways....tee boxes with little to no grass, sand traps that are more rock and dirt than sand...

But the last two rounds I've played I played alone...and for $30 to $35 dollars....so for that price, im not complaining. Ifor more than half my round i was playing two to three balls per hole....getting great practice in and working on parts of my game that need the on course reps...the course used to be better....but at this moment....it is what it is. I have played the course 5 times in the past year...maybe more.

They’ve really let the place go. Use to be a gem. Far from it now☹️

I've played this course several times and always enjoyed it but it's been a while since I had played here and it seems like they've really let the upkeep go. The course was definitely in bad shape. To bad it was a nice course.
