Located just 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and only 20 minutes from Disney World, Remington Golf Club in Kissimmee, Florida features a contemporary design that is fair -- and challenging. Designed by Clifton, Ezel & Clifton and opened in May 1996, the course features four par 5s and five sets of tees, as well as abundant water and generous landing areas. Meticulous course conditioning includes walk-mown greens, and all of this translates to some of the most superior playing conditions in the Orlando area. Remington Golf Club's 6,000-square-foot clubhouse is a popular event host.

UNPLAYABLE

Staff in the Pro Shop and on the grounds were friendly and helpful. The 18 greens are all new as of last year and because of that they are almost unplayable. They hold no shots no matter how you approach the ball to the green. Putting in that condition becomes as difficult because of the undulations. Pace of play was awful. Ranger Rex driving all over saying nothing to keep slow players moving, and suggesting playing from tees that are not over their head. Group in front of us playing killer slow driving both carts directly up to the edge of greens. Real bad. Just saying…

PS. Not a rake to be found anywhere.

Quick true greens. I know Florida is dry, but course needs some water. Learned real quick to land ball well before green and run it up. Greens like concrete.

Groundskeeper - Turn The Sprinklers On!!!

Played Remington a month ago and loved the course. Layout fair and challenging, greens perfect, fairways decent condition, staff terrific, facilities welcoming and clean. BUT ... Some fairway areas were starting to get brown.

Follow-up round this week (a month later), and sure enough dry and brown patches were very evident and larger. This didn't appear to be from insects or disease because the grass was not patchy, just very thirsty. Florida Winters are our dry season. Please get some water on this course before you have much more expensive problems on your hands.

Nice but not spectacular

It’s hard to rate this course for this time of the year. The layout was nice and the greens, which we heard were redone, were nice. It’s not as nice at North Shore which we played the day before. If you have played Royal St Cloud or White Heron I’d say it was similar. It’s just hard comparing the winter conditions to other times of the year. We are 8 and 9 handicaps. Hope this helps.

We last played Remington 3 years ago and for us there have been significant improvements to the course. Our buggy was parked at the boot of our car before I switched the ignition off. Great welcome from Jonathon on the Pro shop.

The course was in great condition with plenty of grass on the fairways and the best greens we have played on since arriving in Florida. My only negative was the pace of play in the back 9. We were a 2 ball behind a 4 ball and their course etiquette could have been better. Replaying shots and putts, leaving clubs on the wrong side of the green and generally slow. They had let the 2 ball in front through on 7 but we were not so lucky. Great wildlife on the course and we were rewarded with a sighting of a rare Pileated woodpecker..

Greens

Ok we just played the Nicklaus and Watson the two days prior . Were the greens at Remington a little slower ? Yes ! But they rolled true and held nicely . I was really happy with the way they rolled and the pace of play was good . Friendly staff from the pro shop , starter and the great lady at the bar . Recomend this course . If you want to pay $120-$200 have at it . I’ll stay with Remington ! 🙌⛳️🏌🏿‍♂️🎯🔥

Remington

The course is a good course to play. Reasonable rates. Since the greens were redone in 2025, they are in nice shape and roll pretty well.

Course is challenging long, pretty good shape.

Just under 4 hours as a twosome teeing off at 1pm.

Fairways nice, Greens a little bumpy, but great grass and fast. Tricky undulating and no bare spots or fungus.

Pleasantly surprised

I had not been to Remington in over a year. The new greens are amazing and fairways have plenty of grass in them. The bunkers are a little inconsistent but nothing to really complain about. Overall the course was well worth $50 on a Saturday morning. Only complaint would be no cart girl for more than 3/4 of the round, sharing with Kissimmee Bay and no grill in pro shop. Other than that, I will definitely be back.
