Located just 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and only 20 minutes from Disney World, Remington Golf Club in Kissimmee, Florida features a contemporary design that is fair -- and challenging. Designed by Clifton, Ezel & Clifton and opened in May 1996, the course features four par 5s and five sets of tees, as well as abundant water and generous landing areas. Meticulous course conditioning includes walk-mown greens, and all of this translates to some of the most superior playing conditions in the Orlando area. Remington Golf Club's 6,000-square-foot clubhouse is a popular event host.

Nice track near Orlando

Very nice people, goof fairways and excellent greens (especially for winter season). The drink cart lady, Johana, was very pleasant and professional, as was Sal, the cart attendant.

We like this course a lot.

Don't waste your money

This course is pizza play was abysmal. They needed a ranger. Overbooked their course so there were not carts available we had to wait an hour from our tee time just to get cards to come in so we could take off. Talking to the caddy or cart guy he said this is a normal practice once they get over 160 golfers. I would not recommend this course to my worst enemy.

Fun course.

Course was fun, course conditions were okay. I asked one staff member where the putting green was, and he wasn't sure. However, staff were friendly. Pace of play was good.

Outrageous Prices!!!

Played Remington Golf Club in Kissimmee recently and left pretty disappointed.

The course was very yellow, brown, and muted. That may be somewhat normal for Florida conditions right now, but there was nothing spectacular about the layout or conditioning. It felt average across the board.

There were no rakes at any of the bunkers, which is frustrating and should be a basic standard at any course.

The worst part, though, was the bar pricing. We were charged $12 for a Diet Pepsi and a Gatorade. Then $48 for two transfusions and a hot dog. The sign said $9 for a transfusion, so even if they were doubles, the pricing didn’t add up. It felt excessive for what is, at best, a mediocre course.

This should be a $35–$45 round with reasonable drink prices. Instead, it feels like they nickel-and-dime you.

I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend it.

Nice Course BUT.....

The course was in good condition and a great layout, but the pace of play was absolutely brutally slow. we Teed off about 25 minutes past our T time, the 1st T box seemed very disorganized as there wasn't an official starter, then once we finally got going, we waited every shot, almost 3 hours for the front 9, Needless to say we left after 9.

Remington Saturday

Great greens and course conditions. Good deal for the price. Players in our group were very pleased with the conditions of the greens. Will definitely play there again.

Slowest round ever

Took five and a half hours to play, unacceptable. Only saw a ranger in the beginning and not sure what he was doing. Had people quitting their rounds on hole 13 because there were three groups on the tee box with people in the fairway and on the green. Pace of play was horrible. Flag sticks would not come out of the hole on numerous holes. Understand haven’t had rain and too cold to water so understand course conditions. Only able to finish because we played with a couple that had their other two quit.

Very fast green and firm.

Tee box needs works and some area on the fairway. Course is pretty open and the ground is a little hard. The ball will roll after it landing . Greed is very fast and extremely firm. Price is very reasonable. Not too many ppl but just a bit slow, foursome ahead play 41/2

UNPLAYABLE

Staff in the Pro Shop and on the grounds were friendly and helpful. The 18 greens are all new as of last year and because of that they are almost unplayable. They hold no shots no matter how you approach the ball to the green. Putting in that condition becomes as difficult because of the undulations. Pace of play was awful. Ranger Rex driving all over saying nothing to keep slow players moving, and suggesting playing from tees that are not over their head. Group in front of us playing killer slow driving both carts directly up to the edge of greens. Real bad. Just saying…

PS. Not a rake to be found anywhere.

Quick true greens. I know Florida is dry, but course needs some water. Learned real quick to land ball well before green and run it up. Greens like concrete.

Groundskeeper - Turn The Sprinklers On!!!

Played Remington a month ago and loved the course. Layout fair and challenging, greens perfect, fairways decent condition, staff terrific, facilities welcoming and clean. BUT ... Some fairway areas were starting to get brown.

Follow-up round this week (a month later), and sure enough dry and brown patches were very evident and larger. This didn't appear to be from insects or disease because the grass was not patchy, just very thirsty. Florida Winters are our dry season. Please get some water on this course before you have much more expensive problems on your hands.
