About
The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs define shot making challenges. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

National delivers
I have played the international. this is easier but similar conditions. Starter was GREAT. paired me up with two very interesting players.

More like municipal course
Was thinking this course would be a great golf experience with all of the great reviews. Highly disappointed. Looked like a municipal course. Could have been a course back home cut into a cornfield. Not a standard for a resort. Grass around the greens had spotted grass and notched line around each green. The sand contained small pebbles and rocks. The pace of play slow, close to 5 hours. Do not waste your money on this course.

More like municipal course
Looked like a course built in any town and ran by the city. The first cut off the green had spots of grass growing. And around each green there was a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap. The sand traps had rocks and pebbles in it. The only good thing about the course were thev tee boxes. . Was excepting more from the course due to everyone raving about it online.. The pace of play 4 hours and 45 minutes. Always waiting on the group in front of us . No course personnel monitor pace of play. Will never play it again or recommend it. Not worth the price. Other courses are better than this one. Skio playing this course.

Good course great company
Loved everything about the golf. Starter was very accommodating, playing partners were great. The greens were excellent. Perhaps a little more overseeding for a high end course. However, much better than reunion for half the price.

Challenging but fair course
Had an enjoyable round of golf. Greens were in good condition.. Restaurant and bar service was slow after our round. Course staff was friendly and helpful.

Expectations come with a price
When a course charges you over s hundred dollars to play, one expects they won’t jam groups together on the tee sheet together. The course is in excellent shape. The layout is good but not by any means memorable. The pace was, however, because from the opening tee shot we had to wait. It took the enjoyment out of playing the course. Three groups on every, single, hole. I’m assuming this doesn’t happen all the time or I would have read about it more in reviews. Because of course conditions being excellent I’d give it another shot but beware to those who do, don’t assume you’re also paying for more spaced out tee times.

Course was in great condition, was challenging but fair. Loved having more than one par 5 on each 9 holes, and a very drivable par 4. GPS with cart to hole/bunker/water distance and score tracking was a nice benefit as well. Big putting green and chipping green was a nice plus. Felt the course and amenities were worth the cost to play.

National course
The more I play this course the more I realize how bad of a design it really is! The front nine is a great layout but once you get to the back nine it’s lot of target/laying up good for the more advanced golfer. I don’t know about you but I don’t find it fun hitting 4 iron off the tee on 5 separate par 4’s because if I hit anything longer I get in trouble. It’s almost like they didn’t have quite enough space for this golf course. The conditions are usually fantastic but this time they were well below average and I felt like I was playing at a cow pasture. I would recommend playing this course at least once for the average golfer but I don’t have much of a recommendation for the better golfer.

Spectacular
I was prepared for another overpriced, overhyped premium golf course and boy, was I wrong. The course has a great layout with a LOT of fun shots. No 15 was magnificent. There was a generous mix of target shots and open fairways so great variety. All holes were in beautiful condition, February, 2021. I can't wait to go back.
