The more I play this course the more I realize how bad of a design it really is! The front nine is a great layout but once you get to the back nine it’s lot of target/laying up good for the more advanced golfer. I don’t know about you but I don’t find it fun hitting 4 iron off the tee on 5 separate par 4’s because if I hit anything longer I get in trouble. It’s almost like they didn’t have quite enough space for this golf course. The conditions are usually fantastic but this time they were well below average and I felt like I was playing at a cow pasture. I would recommend playing this course at least once for the average golfer but I don’t have much of a recommendation for the better golfer.

I was prepared for another overpriced, overhyped premium golf course and boy, was I wrong. The course has a great layout with a LOT of fun shots. No 15 was magnificent. There was a generous mix of target shots and open fairways so great variety. All holes were in beautiful condition, February, 2021. I can't wait to go back.

Played a really nice course 2 other GN singles, made a couple birdies a had a nice day. Super nice true greens.

Played here several times before. Course is in good shape. Greens a little slow but very good condition.

A couple of holes were a little tricked up I thought, but overall I liked the course. We had a big thunderstorm come through for about an hour but the course dried up really quickly.

Pace of play was a bit of an issue , we were behind a 5some and a twosome.

Overall though I enjoyed it.

Course is in excellent shape, friendly staff that does the extras to insure your enjoyment

As dry as it has been, I was pleasantly surprised how good the tees, fairways, and greens were at CG Nat’l. The rough, however, was suffering mightily. There were bare areas interspersed in the universally thin rough along with a wealth of infilled divots left by ignorant and/or lazy golfers unappreciative of the hard work the maintenance staff has done to provide them a really good golf course. A good rain would go a long way to help things. The greens were a bit slow for my taste but they rolled true and would hold a well struck mid-iron. Pace of play was great on the front side but bogged down somewhat on the backside to equal a precise 4:05 round. ChampionsGate Nat’l is always a fun track to test your skills.

Course in great shape. Greens ran true and putted great. Would play it again with the knowledge I have from the first time play.

What a beautiful course this is !! The maintenance of every hole was fantastic ! We enjoyed ourselves tremendously !

Overall the course was just ok ; the greens were excellent, fairways were good , the noise was awful . Newly built housing along course need to be reminded that they sit on or near a golf course , music was so load , on 5 holes , we could not hear each other talking . Definitely not a relaxing day of golf .

Really enjoy playing here. Nice course, and decent layout. Conditions always good. However, the weather was brutal for Florida. Temperature was 54 whenever I teed off with sustained winds of 20-25 mph, gusting to 30 mph plus. The other players in my group didn't show up, so sent me out as a single. The starter said there was a foursome about 4-5 holes ahead. Wind was moving ball 20-30 yards offline with a side wind. Took me awhile to adjust. Shot a bad 45 on front, but corrected for the wind to shoot 39 on back. Couldn't have been better on the back, but the wind blew my ball off the green a couple of times. Glad the greens weren't that fast. It would have been unplayable. The only downside, other than the weather, was another goofy single guy that I caught on 8. We could have joined up, but he wouldn't even acknowledge me. We both caught up to the foursome on 11, and even though we were both waiting together to tee off on 11, he wouldn't let me join him. The foursome let him play through on 12, and instead of picking up on double bogey, he took an 8 on the hole. The foursome let me play through them on 13, but then had to wait multiple times for him to tee off or play a hole. This is the etiquette part of golf that I just don't get. Whatever happened to letting faster players play through? The whole golf course was open in front of him.
