ChampionsGate Golf Club - National
About
The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs define shot making challenges. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

Golfer Reviews
Must Play
If you like golf , you’ll love this course. Some easy holes, some hard ones and some very interesting ones. Outstanding course conditions.
Course in good shape I was pleased and would play again
Great! We're glad that our course conditions met your expectations and we look forward to having you back again soon!
Cart path only
The course was cart path only because of overseeing and no mention of this was made when booking was made.
Some bunkers were in poor conditions, very wet and unkept
Must play
Very nice course. Excellent conditions. . The only issue, it was cart path only because overseeding. If we have known, we woud not play. But it is a must play golf course
Mixed review
The course was fine, greens were in good shape and fairly fast, lots of sand, challenging but not not overly so. There were however a couple of glaring problems. While sitting in our golf cart by the starters area, the language that was being used while I sat and waited for my husband was beyond profane and completely unprofessional. Second, we had to rent clubs, the cost of that was twice what the green fee was, what the heck is going on with that!!!! And finally, every time we looked at the cart GPS it was on an advertisement for a restaurant or event or something else, we constantly had to keep switching back to the course view, super annoying. I do want to say that the bartender in the lounge was great, I think his name was John.
Awesome track, excellent condition
Played with a couple from Omaha and the pace of play was excellent, played in 3:25 minutes, course was challenging from the Blue Tees and course was in excellent condition. The greens were quick and rolled very well. It was a great day, scored well.
great off season price
Enjoyed playing, Course not busy at this time of year so great deal
Well worth the visit
No golfing complaints whatsoever. Excellent golf facility all round. However there was a large golf party playing before us the same day who had obviously had been given a lunch box or similar the course letter bins were over flowing with their rubbish and empty beer cans/bottles. An unsightly mess over the entire 18 holes. The entire water stations had been emptied of H2O, not good on a very hot afternoon. Come on CG these small issues can easily be addressed by emptying the litter bins and refilling the water stations through the day.
Champions Gate - National
Course is in excellent condition, fairways and greens. The only minor issue is soggy/muddy area close to green on hole 9. There is a natural water hazard on the right side and the soggy/muddy area on the left by the cart path. Miss the green right or left and you can find yourself in trouble. Everything else is in great shape!!
Great day to play ....
Course was wide open - never waited, never pushed. Very light play today. Course is in great shape, greens are PERFECT! Check this place out - well worth it.
Great Course
We like the openness this course has. Great place to play. The staff in the pro shop are great. Haven't had a chance to have a meal there but, the dining/bar area looks fabulous and the food smells great!! Plus this course in only 20 minutes from our house.
Course In very good condition
Course fairways and greens were in very good condition although wet in certain areas due to recent rains. Greens in excellent condition and rolled very true and moderately fast. Some bunkers had water in them. There was some areas under repair, Some holes very tight with trees guarding both sides of the fairways. Fun course to play and good value. Staff very friendly particularly the Starter. Highly recommend
Champiogate
Excellent course, great condition except for temporary water in some bunkers due to heavy rain during the week. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Had some trouble finding the place due to lack of visible signs. That’s the area to be addressed, improve signs and make them more visible.
Nice layout
Course was in pretty good condition holes 8&9 were pretty wet with all the rain the day before but manageable.Greens rolled well little sandy from top dressing ahead of us but still good shape. Worth playing
I played the National course, (my 4th time in a 9 day period), and it was in great shape considering the amount of rain we have had in the area. So clearly there is excellent drainage. The course layout is very playable for all levels. I am a 16 handicapper and feel comfortable playing from either the white tees when I am with high handicappers or the blue tees when playing with single digit handicappers. I do not play any further back than that. It is a fun track for players of all levels
Outstanding! We're thrilled that you enjoyed our course and the challenge it presented. We're also glad that our course conditions met your expectations. We can't wait to have you back again soon for your next round at ChampionsGate!
