Ashton Hills Golf Club

Having only played this course once before and that was during the "dormant"grass season in Georgia, I wasn't sure what to expect when everything was green. And not only were the greens green, they were spectacular - the best I have played on all season. They were smooth, fast (but not crazy fast), and as true as could be. The tee boxes and fairways were also in good shape; however, the bunkers were almost hard due to the amount of rain the night before - not the course's fault. Many of the holes have a slight dogleg to the right and while there are houses around the course; they never seemed to be close enough to be affected by an errant shot.

Worth the 45 minute drive from Buckhead! Greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Great scenery and layout.

This course is in great shape. Greens are quick and smooth. Fairways are in great condition and tee boxes look great. Driver is needed on a few holes, but long irons will get you a long way on this course. Practice green is in great shape and will help you out big time if you use before teeing off.

This course is amazing! It’s fun to play, and easy to score if you don’t have an ego to hit a driver on every hole. Sit back with a long iron and a full wedge into the firm and lightning fast greens and you will have a blast shooting near par. I haven’t seen greens this nice since I played Sawgrass years ago! They take amazing care of this course. Seriously I would play here every day if it wasn’t so far away from my house. It’s a shame that COVID is taking the bunkers out of play with free drops because they would add an extra challenge to the course. If you are debating on playing don’t debate just enjoy it! I’ll be back next week, even if it is an hour drive. It is worth it!

The course is in great condition. The necessary pro caution is taken concerning social distancing. Always fun to play

100% worth the 37 mile drive from downtown Atlanta. The layout is fun and interesting. The fairways undulate and are in really good shape. The greens have to be some of the best I’ve played on. They’re fast and fair but you have to land your approach on the correct tier or a three-jack will happen. This course is definitely in my rotation now.

A pleasure to place, unless you miss the green on your approach then you can have some challenges getting up and down.

Multiple tee boxes seem to accommodate players of different length.

Tough track from any set of tees. Rolling hillside with significant slope on most greens, which were in fantastic shape. Highly recommend!!

I really love putting on fast true rolling Greens. Nice layout and design. Especially like the green complex that has 2 flags on it. A very scorable par 4 followed by a fun little par 3.

The course had a nice design and friendly staff. The conditions were rough, but that’s mostly due to all the rain we’ve had lately. The cart paths could definitely use some work. Would definitely play here again.

Nothing wrong with the course or staff, both great, no complaints. Only thing wrong with our round today was a group in front of us who had no intentions of hurrying up, or letting anyone play through. I think the pro/marshals said something to them at the turn, so they started back on 11 while we started on 10, but we still caught back up by 13, ended up taking just over 5 hrs to play.

Only recommendation I would make is a tad bit more involvement/presence from marshals, maybe letting some groups play through a group like that. Otherwise, great course to play, not too expensive, neat little layout, the whole 9 yards. I live over an hour away and would have no issue playing here again, maybe it was just a one time thing.

The course was very wet in the fairways everyone kept pulling up clogs of the fairway because it was so soggy and it made it where no one could execute on there iron shots we kept miss hitting the ball that’s it other than that the greens were in great shape
