Olde Beau Resort & Golf Club

We played this course the 1st Saturday in October. The leaves had not turned yet but the views are still beautiful. The greens are in great condition, there are a variety of interesting holes to play, the fairway grass could be thin in some places, but overall the experience was great. I would add too if you want something a bit less challenging, every hole that is not a par three has a par three tee box so you can play the entire course as a par 3. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The driving range has only 5 matts to hit from. There is a small grill next to the pro shop where you can get breakfast biscuits, burgers, hot dogs, etc ... We will be back again I'm sure.

Beautiful views but a bear of a course. Be prepared to lose more golf balls than you usually do playing up here. Some holes were hard to see where i needed to hit my tee ball, and there are no pictures of the hole layout on the post by the tee box. I think the next time I go back it will be about 5 strokes better just knowing where to hit. But overall I don’t regret the drive, and I would definitely make the drive again!

Fog lifted before teeing off, unfortunately it returned on the back 9 where it returned for good. No problem, took on the challenge and played thru it.

Did miss the amazing views, next time!

Fairways are a good lye 98% of the time, intermediate rough isn't punishing. Greens are receptive to good shots and putt true.

Would love to stay and play for several days.

Needing to find a half way stop on our way home from North Myrtle Beach to break up the trip for our 11 month old granddaughter, we found an Airbnb in Traphill, NC. I was excited to find Olde Beau on the Golfnow app, and when I played the course, I was not disappointed!!

The views are magnificent, particularly the approach to 15. The course was challenging, even more so with the previous night’s storms drenching the course. The greens were smooth and fast, the bunkers were very playable even with the rain.

The staff was extremely hospitable and the complimentary course yardage book was a life saver.

All in all, a great place to find and hopefully a course I will play again. Also very close to Stone Mountain State Park, a beautiful place to hike with majestic falls!

Beautiful mountain course. Nice cart with yardage book and tees. Gentleman in pro shop was super nice.

Weather was not as accommodating as I would have liked, but better than the 90 degree weather I have at home. Lots of blind shots, not good for my game, plus trying to take in the up and down of each hole. One needs to be able to walk up and down hills, especially if some holes are CPO.

All in all, it was nice to play, didn’t score well, but I enjoyed it.

Absolutely beautiful course the layout and the views were amazing.

Great course, very challenging. Hard to figure out which hole is the signature hole, they are all unique.
