Olde Beau Resort & Golf Club

The conditions were great and the weather was great. The final three holes are tough. I don’t particularly like 16 the hill is too steep.

Golf shop and facility closed when we completed the round at 6:40 pm. Could not use rest room or wash hands.

Great layout always in good condition. Love the golf course. Rates reasonable. Snack bar a bit overwhelmed.

Love this course and try to get up and play it as often as possible! It was probably in the best shape I have ever seen it! Worth every penny

Course rating is from previous round at Olde Beau. I mistakenly made a tee time late afternoon on 6/30/20 for 7/1/20 at 11 AM. I intended to make a tee time for 7/3/20. Totally my fault no question about it. I was unable to modify the tee time as I was, I assume, too close to the tee time. It was prepaid so I'm out the money for the round. I'm not sure if anything could have been done but it would have been nice to speak to someone regarding the issue. Calling customer service only reslulted in a series of recodings, none of which addressed my issue. It would have been nice to discuss this with a human. Live and learn I guess.

The course was in excellent shape. Some blind tee shots so be sure to either get a yardage book or do some research prior to you round.

Only negative comment is course could have had a Marshall to keep pace of play moving. One threesome held up numerous groups and took 15 minutes at the turn further blocking up the back nine.

Great course that is well designed but falls short on 16, 17, and 18. Course was well maintained and in great shape. Greens were fast and rolling well, very few pitch marks.

Being my first time, lots of holes required some guess work on where to drive the ball and how far to hit it. The yardage book that’s provided in the cart really helps but I still found myself in the rough and OB once for choosing the wrong line. The majority of tee shots require careful placement.

Thought the course was well laid out, carved into the hills perfectly, until 16, 17, and 18. Feels like these holes were a let down compared to the rest of the course. I felt like those holes lost character despite the views.

Be ready for this Awesome breathtaking track! Staff extremely helpful wonderful breakfast and chicken tinder’s for lunch! Yardage book help tremendously and bring your camera you’ll wish you had because the views and and golf course is beyond words! Live the track I’m going back tomorrow and bring wife and dog just to take PiC on 14 with BEAU!

Club house golf Director awesome ! Cook made a great breakfast sandwich also the tenders where great for lunch! Views and conditions was breath taking seriously! 14,15,16,17 are the money holes bring you camera for the front and especially the back 9 for views and great golf ! Tip used the yardage book it help a great deal!

Despite the virus, this course was ready for business. It was in immaculate condition, including the sand traps. The design tough in spots, but fair. It is one of the most beautiful courses that I have played, and I have played over 690 courses. Good value for the buck. Views from the top of this course are breathtaking. I would definitely play Olde Beau again. The burial monument to the English Bull Dog showed a touch of class.

Course was in very good condition. Greens were in great shape and rolled at an average speed. The course has some very scenic holes with moderate elevation changes on many of the holes.

Always enjoy going here but appears the greens may have suffered some winter kill. Aeration taking time to heal and they are extremely slow and don't look anything like they have over the last 5 years I have played here. This course had some of the best greens around.

The friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and checked us in very quickly. We had the 0800 tee time but were able to go off around 0740 since there we no groups in the times in front of us.

The course was in very good shape. The fairways, rough and traps were excellent. The greens were still growing back in from being punched but the ball rolled pretty well. The views through out the round were great.

I played the blue tees and the course at just over 6000 yards was challenging with all the elevation changes and the side hill lies. The course is fair and a lot of fun to play.

This was the first time in many years I had played the course but i will be returning soon to play it again.

It has somewhat up and down courses but they have beautiful scenery. I loved it!!

Truly a mountain course with huge elevation changes and amazing views. Tees and fairways were in great condition but greens are still recovering from aeration. Great layout with some amazing hole designs. Some blind shots - would play better the next time. With the high winds and back tees was a tough test. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Plan to go back soon.
