First time on a PGA West course but been on several Dye courses. This was the top of the iceberg, thus far. Great layout, spectacular views. Greens were running at just the right speed, maybe even slightly slow.

Greens difficult to navigate
The greens were expanded in size since we last played there a few years ago with many undulations making it very difficult to read the greens. Greens fall off rapidly at the edges,like Donald Ross designed greens, so a pin location off center is usually a problem when you chip at the pin as opposed to the center of the green. I think the occasional golfer would get frustrated with the course. Clubhouse and carts has been updated.

Amazing course
This is a must play if you are in Palm Springs. Immaculate conditions and beautiful every direction. Only thing that was annoying was could not hit driver on the range and greens were a bit slow but otherwise AMAZING

Great course and views
I had not played this course in maybe 25 years. It was just as good as I remember. Great views of the Sant Rosa cove, layout is excellent and fairly challenging.
Staff were very nice and accommodating. I plan to play again during my visit back to the area.

Great, unique layout
You really get your money's worth on the mountain holes - 4, 5, 6, and then a bunch on the back nine. The stretch from 14-16 is unbelievable. I'd come back, especially because the greens should be better at another time. They were slow and covered with sand. Not sure what kind of maintenance they're doing, but hopefully it pays off in the long run.

You will pay more for courses that are half as good. Incredible track. The views. The layout. Unfortunately the green were miserably slow, but that'll change.
Must play if you are down here. Far better shape than the Dunes.
