Wekiva Golf Club
About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Wekivia Golf Club
The course was in fantastic shape considering the lack of rain in central Florida. Pace of play was just under 4 hours. Check in was a breeze and the staff was as top notch. 🏌️😎
Good find
I have waned to play field a while but reviews always scared off.
Course was in deceb5 shape considering dry season. Staff was awesome. Great value
Good value
Played before 0900 on a a Friday and course was open. Layout provided challenge. Most greens protected by bunkers..
Staff was friendly and course was in decent shape despite lack of rain.
Course is getting better
The Greens have spots under repair. they were top dressed with white sand which helped but the parts of the Green that were normal were perfect. So there is light at the end of the tunnel. So if it gets like the parts not under repair they will have Great greens in the very near future. The rest of the course is fine. The greens are what I care about the most.
Extremely Slow Greens
The greens were the slowest I have ever played, and we haven’t even had rain in a few days. Aside from the greens, the course is in decent shape and a decent value for the price.
nice neighborhood course that needs supervision
I really like this course. Conditions are so so but the layout is interesting and challenging especially around the greens. My concern is that it would help to have a starter who could organize players better. When I teed off as a single, I invited the single behind me to join up. The single ahead of me on the tee totally ignored me. A starter would have put us together as there was a foursome in the fairway. On the third hole, I realized the single ahead of me was playing 4 balls. I caught up to him on the 4th tee and asked if I could play through. Luckily he was agreeable and then the foursome let me through on 6. On the back 9, I noticed a sixsome on 16. They were far enough ahead that it didn't matter. Just pointing this out to management to make for a better experience for all golfers.
What a difference a year makes!
Played here last year. Really enjoyed the course. This year was a totally different experience. Didn’t help that we were 40 minutes late getting out as there was tournament ahead of us. Somehow we ended up behind to groups of 5 players. The conditions were horrible. All but 3 greens burnt out with a patches of sand to fill in where the turf had died. Several tee boxes were void of grass.
Great staff
From the start of arriving, the staff was very friendly. As for the staff in the snack bar... outstanding. The bartender was very helpful. The cook was outstanding. We dish 15 minutes talking with her after eating the best burgers we have ever had at a golf course. Hope to come here in the future just for the food experience.
Under Whelming
This was my first time playing considering i have lived in the Orlando area for 40 years. Overall, it's a nice course layout and the staff was super nice.
The challenge this time was the course was in rough shape. Fairway are very, very hard (almost like a road) and the greens were in rough shape (many bumps, dead areas) but better than the fairways.
I honestly think golf maintenance is trying to improve things, but work is still needed.
I wouldn't say that I won't be back. I would try it again. But I would like to see it's in better shape. But, but any day golfing is better than not golfing!
