About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

Great course
I played by myself on Sunday with a friend riding along with me and we finished in two and a half hours it was incredible people were letting me go through about 4 or 5 times very friendly
Best course around, friendly staff!
The best course around! You rock Cypress, it’s green & your ball rolls forever! We will be back several times while we are up here for the month. Thanks to Jeff & his brother for taking good care of us! Got the driving range on grass too! 👍⛳️
Good Golf course
Overall the golf course was in decent shape. It was showing areas of disrepair i.e. dead grass and bare spots. Greens were powerful. Overall it was worth the price to pay at plate

Everyone working at Cypress Ridge has a smile on their face, and they are extremely helpful. Top notch service!
Challenging Course
This course is great, super changeling, great layout with hard read greens.
Golf Course on the Central Coast
Great value for the buck. Course in the best condition of any course I have played on the Central Coast. If you are a senior citizen, be sure to ask for the Senior Discount.
Local favorite!
I play here more than I play the other course in the area. Staff is friendly and very amenable! Course is a Peter Jacobson layout. They have survived COVID I think the only aspect of the course, and I believe they're working on it, is the bunkers. They need some work and sand. Other than that a great place to play and meet fellow golfers.
Needs a lot of T.L.C
Pace of play was 5hrs. on a Tuesday mid morning. Our four sum waited on every tee and fairway. No one came by to check on pace of play. Golf carts are well worn out and DANGEROUS. The brakes will not stop carts on the down hills. Fairways in decent shape, greens not so much. Lots of ball marks, lumps and Bumps. Some traps had sand but most were hard pack with weeds and rocks. This course use to be the stand out in this area. Fantastic lay out. Great summer time weather. Sad to see the down ward spiral on this once must play golf course.
It’s fine, I wouldn’t pay standard fees
The course is okay, every green has a melange of turf to it, meaning it’ll run five or take 2 points relative to whatever surface you’re putting from.
Random mud and sloppy areas, the driving range is nowhere near the same conditions of the course. EG; don’t expect to compress the ball like you can at the range, it’s too firm out on the course.
