About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

Excellent course. Hadn’t played because fees were too high. But on GolfNow they were reasonable.
The course is excellent. It is suffering from a slight infestation of these little white flowers which can make it difficult to find your ball. But other courses in the area have this too. Might be a spring occurrence. But otherwise I definitely recommend playing. Reminds us of Blackhorse/Bayonet in Monterey. Very scenic.

As the other reviews have said. This course is a hidden gem. Great conditions, very challenging and beautiful scenery. I normally don’t leave reviews but had to for those of you looking for a great challenge and great course. I’m from so cal and was out here for work and if it wasn’t for the reviews I would of never found this gem.

Took a chance on Cypress Ridge as we were unfamiliar with it. Loved the design....not easy. This is a hidden gem!

Was very disappointed that i could not play back nine with friend from San Francisco who drove 3.5 hours to join me...
A very challenging beauty of a course!
Well maintained fairways and greens will will test all of your golf abilities. The abundance of trees lining the course just add to the beauty! Well worth a visit!
Greens are fast
The course is in good condition with the exception of dry spot on the fairways. The greens are fast and flawless. We finished 18 as a foursome in less than four hours.
