About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

Thanks Cypress Ridge staff for keeping a great course together. Fun! Shot the best round of my life from the white tees. Played 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours. Fantastic day!

2nd best golf course on the central coast
Love this course. Very challenging (especially the greens.
Well kept, green grass, minimal trouble, greens roll pretty fast, but overall… HIGH MARKS.
This is the second best course, in my opinion… the first is
PASO ROBLES GOLF CLUB, which used to be private, now
a public course, that is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !!!
Top Course On Central Coast
For the money and course layout it is one of the best courses on Central Coast. Well maintained and consistent greens.
Exceptional layout, great conditions.
I hadn’t visited this course in a long while. Their prices had gone above other comparable courses. But on golf now I got a good deal at a great start time. My wife and I drive just over 2 hours to get here. So a late morning start works great and we don’t get home too late. Some places give these deals after 2 pm which negates the possibility of playing.
Great course
My wife and I went to Pismo for our 18th Wedding anniversary. We picked this course to play, and it did not disappoint. The fairways, bunkers, were all in great shape. The greens were nice, great roll, but a tad slower than I'm use to. If your in town, it's worth going for sure!
Excellent course. Hadn’t played because fees were too high. But on GolfNow they were reasonable.
The course is excellent. It is suffering from a slight infestation of these little white flowers which can make it difficult to find your ball. But other courses in the area have this too. Might be a spring occurrence. But otherwise I definitely recommend playing. Reminds us of Blackhorse/Bayonet in Monterey. Very scenic.

As the other reviews have said. This course is a hidden gem. Great conditions, very challenging and beautiful scenery. I normally don’t leave reviews but had to for those of you looking for a great challenge and great course. I’m from so cal and was out here for work and if it wasn’t for the reviews I would of never found this gem.

Took a chance on Cypress Ridge as we were unfamiliar with it. Loved the design....not easy. This is a hidden gem!
