About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

Cypress Ridge
I was amazed at the speed of play for a Saturday on a holiday weekend. We played as a twosome and did not have to wait at all until the back nine. Course conditions were very nice.

Fun course, friendly staff. Tee it up at Cypress Ridge
The pace of play was extremely slow. Five hour plus round. No marshals to keep pace of play reasonable. The greens were in excellent shape but the fairways were poorly maintained.

Outstanding golf course with lush grass throughout. Greens were in great shape. Course has a lot of bunkers. Because of the amount of bunkers I would recommend adding more sand and give them some attention. Staff was great and very friendly. . Practice facility was in great condition and large enough to handle a large crowd. Definitely recommend this course. Numerous challenges that made you think about club selection and position.
Great Trip
I chose to bring my group of 28 to play 4 days at this course. The staff was amazing, plus we met the owner as we had some refreshments out on the beach area out front under the palms. The course is in great shape and challenging as well in a good way, No boring holes. Can't wait to come back in a couple of weeks.
My favorite course
Excellent golf course here. The very best value for your money hands down. Well maintained, good pace of play, and the guys in the pro shop are the absolute best. I’ve played here many times, and it’s always great.
SLOW great course though
Smooth 5.5 hour round today. We had to wait for every single shot and didn’t see a Marshall the whole time to try to fix it. Tee boxes were great and greens were well maintained. Hats off to the greens keepers, shame on management. Staff in the pro shop were very nice but don’t want to take almost 6 hours for a round at this price point.
