About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

Pleasantly surprised!
My son and I really enjoyed our round. Staff was super friendly and got us out early. Finished in 4 hours. Tees and fairways were in good condition. The greens were exceptional - firm, smooth and fast! Best public course greens I've played in last 5 years. Entertaining course layout as well. Par 3s were challenging, but fair. Will definitely play again on my next Central Coast visit!
Nice course, will play again
Like the course layout, has some nice elevation changes to go with short holes and long holes. Several tee boxes were in tough shape, greens were pretty good, bunkers were mostly okay but thin sand on number 10. Some houses come fairly close to a couple fairways so there are some OB's on property lines but not many are really in play. All in all a fun course with some interesting holes and I will look to play it again.
Great course - a real jewel on the Central Coast
I make a point to drive over an hour to play this course as it's a great test of golf, and seemingly always in great shape.
Great staff, excellent course.
Friendly welcoming staff starts you off on a challenging course. The track is well maintained. If the winds are blowing there might be litter from the trees. Sometimes the course gets crowded and the pace of play slows down.
Nice Course
Course was nice, but we had to wait at every hole for the 3 guys in front of us. 5 hours was way to long. I felt like it was a weekend. I want to try and play again this week and hopefully we won't have to wait at each hole..
