About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

Nice course, but I wouldn’t recommend walking!
Nice layout, above average conditions.
Group spacing was scattershot and could have been helped by a starter. Pace of play was reasonable, but there was definitely some odd/lacking understanding of golf etiquette in therms of allowing people to play through/taking unasked advantage of the same.
I walked — front nine was fine, but the back nine was a challenge! Very hilly!
Great pace joined another twosome of really nice young men

There should be a course ambassador to help maintain a better pace of play.

Course is great amenities are great staff are fantastic the only thing I feel could be improved upon is pace of play, at times it’s just fine but at times it needs attention from a course Marshall.

Several groups were not maintaining proper pace of play, it would really be good to see an ambassador on the course to encourage slower groups maintain proper pace of play.

Great value
Picked a time of day that wasn’t busy. Spectacular view and friendly staff. Some holes were very challenging and others for the beginner. Will play this course again in the future!
Over booked
Right front the first tee it was a crawl 20 minutes just to get off the tee box. Lots of foursomes in front of us we were 3 but there's no Marshalls to keep these hackers moving and after 6 holes I had enough. Time to call it a day. I came to try and enjoy a round of golf Bit I had no plans to take this round into night fall.
Had to leave and hate to say but I don't think I'll be back anytime in the near future.
