Indian Hills Golf Club

About
Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

My round
Course was in good condition concerning the time of year. Good lies in fairways and greens were rolling true. The best part was the bartender on Mondays. Great personality and pours a mean drink.
Great course
Great course not too expensive. And beautiful views! Also no one crazy rules either! Nice course
Generally good
A nice course, plenty of challenges.
Would be great to be able to get carts early and take them to your vehicle to load clubs, especially for older players. They can easily be restricted to just the car park.
No driving range, so why not have 3-4 warm up nets like Eagle Glen and Black Gold currently have, plus most British courses?
First time, not the last time.
Fairly new at the game of golf. Played at a few spots and this one was pretty good. Fairways were nice, greens in good shape. Loved the lay out. Will be back soon for another round.
Great to play
Two foursomes played together yesterday. We caught up to them on #12 they, one in our group jumped 2 holes ahead. They split on 13 then on 14 played in, thankfully they were playing a scramble. Hard to have marshals every day and I don’t want to be the bad guy.
Really Nice
This is my second time playing this course. It’s in good shape, from tee to greens. The friendly staff greeted me when got there. Played with some new friends, Gina, Eric and Victor. We played well and enjoyed our round together. Can’t wait to get back here to play again.
Great Time
My grandson and I came to this course. We are both fairly new to golf. We did 9 holes and really enjoyed it. The course was really good and great surroundings. We will be back.
Course needs some basic improvements.
I’m not one to criticize minor stuff but I think what I’m about to bring up, needs to be addressed. This course NEVER has enough staff. They have one person working the snack bar, cooking and then having to walk over to the bar and play bar tender. Hire another person for the bar please! One person to do all three is chicken siht. Second point, this place has NEVER had a Marshal out on the course to keep the pace up. I’ve never seen one here and I probably golf here 1-2 times per week. But I’m getting sick of having slow players not playing ready golf. Today there were golfers playing two balls at a rime and in a Friday! Totally unacceptable. Makes me not wanna come back.
