Indian Hills Golf Club

About
Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Nice course to play
Good layout, just few holes is too short if you play white tee. would play again.
Fun day at Indian Hills
We had a great time at Indian Hills. We arrived a bit early and were allowed to go off some 45 min. early we finished our round in less than 4 hours. The course was in really good shape. The green putted true. The Starter/chech-in person was very friendly, and turned us on to other courses that have a relationship with Indian Hills.
Nice Course
Over all nice course. There were a few holes that the greens needed some work. Don’t play in beach cause the sand is hard as concrete. Other than that was a great day golfing.
Pace of play
Pace of play was ridiculously slow. Nearly 3 hours for just the front 9 with no Marshall to monitor
Pinsetter was brutal today !!!
This is always a fun but challenging course. The course was in good shape- but the bunkers certainly need more sand.
My only complaint today- along with many other groups around us was the pin placements. Most of the holes had the pins set within 2’ of the edge of the greens, or so close to the front edge of a sloped green that the ball could not be stopped. These greens have a lot of slope- and the placements today were almost penal !!!
Sunday Golfing
The weather was windy, but it was still fun being out there. The wind died down, slow down because of the trees that surround the cranes and the fairway so we didn’t make too much of a hazard when you hit the ball deep overall outstanding day the beer girls out there so there was plenty of refreshments to go around, and the hamburgers were outstanding. If anybody’s interested in a good reasonably priced golf course Indian Hills is the one you should try out.
Challenging, course was average, greens are not bad and course is narrow, but not bad overall.
Challenging but fun course
First time playing this track. Wasn’t expecting much with the short distance- but was I wrong !!
This course is very challenging with the elevation changes- false fronts and tiered greens.
Greens roll good- but hard to read the breaks- you need to know where the high sides of the greens are !!
The bunkers are short of sand and very hard packed- difficult to get any elevation out of the bunkers.
Very fun course- we are playing it again next week !!
Great fun course
All is good but for the pace of play. I wish we have a Marshall to drive around and check .
