About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

Disappointing sand trap maintenance
Sand traps were in really bad shape, could have been due the amount of rain over the past days/weeks, no matter they could have been better!
Thank you so much for taking the time to rate and review our golf course. The rain definitely washes out the bunkers and we try to get to them as soon as possible. We can't drive the machines into the traps until they dry out so it does take some time and a lot of manpower to rake them by hand. We apologize if you experienced some bad ones. We really hope to see you again soon.
Money worth for that price
I have booked my teatime with Golfnow at 38$, all included. At that price, it was really a big bargain considering the course conditions, the beautiful layout and a great overall environnement.

Good course
Maybe best just a bit worn out. I've played this course for years and the price goes up while quality isn't quite as solid as near by course that are cheaper.

Rude staff
So let me tell you about this course and it's staff. I was very excited to play this course with my buddies. We went to go to the practice range and they said where do you think you are gojng. I said to the practice range. They replied well did you pay for balls. I said yes we showed the other starter. He said did you pay for golf too? I felt so disciminated against. No one was friendly at this place. Just a horrible experience and the course itself was below average and significantly over priced. I will never go back nor recommend it. The staff was horrible and that starter needs to learn basic customer service and how to speak to people.

Put it on your list
This is the second year that we have played this course and this year is better than last (which was great as well). Pace was perfect...never felt rushed or held up. Compared to other "premium" courses we played, Jac was in a class above when it came to conditions.
Looking forward already to returning!

Fairway and green condition is excellent. Except the course is very busy, there are tournament at the west course in the morning and at the east course in the afternoon. We booked at 8.08am and the starter told us there is some mix up. It should be 8.20am. He told us to go to putting green and come back in 15 minutes. But we came back a couple minutes late, he is very grumpy because he told us he has already sent two players at the first tee to wait for us.I guessed he is very stressed out because of tournament.
We are glad to hear you enjoyed the conditions of the golf course. While we don't have tournaments every weekend there are times when you will encounter an outing during your round. However, it's not acceptable for any of our staff members to be "grumpy" and we will be sure to address this situation directly. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Good if not great layout, near perfect conditions
East course not as hard or as interesting as the West course, but both in great condition, greens fairly quick, threesome played first 12 holes in under 2hrs, slowed down a little when we caught up ladies day players, but still finisheed a shade under 4 hrs.

This course is the best public golf course in broward county Period... From the bag drop to the last hole excellent experience each and every time. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Definitely be back real soon.

Great experience on St.Pattie 's Day
As a single I was paired up with a 3 some. A local guy who played here before and husband and wife who were 1st timers. The pairing was fine and we were encouraging to each other. The course was as I remembered it, fair, challenging, and in great shape. The front nine was relaxing and stress free.I ordered lunch at #9, picked it up at the turn, ate quickly before #10 and got to the back 9. Once on the back 9, the Ranger started following us for 6 holes, not noticing the 4 some of poor hacks in front of us slowing us down. Otherwise a great round on a Classic course. Keep it up
