About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

East is mediocre Staff is great
The course is super average. Sand ok. Greens ok not fast not slow. The bunkers ok. Basically there is nothing I will remember about this course. 116$ I’m new to Florida I expect more for the money. Perhaps the Orlando golfing has spoiled me. Staff is the. Best thing about the whole

Challenging track
I would give this a 5 star if the fairways were in better condition. In quite a few of the holes the fairways were a bit patchy, but nonetheless this was a beautiful track. It’s challenging and plays super long, especially with the 15mph winds.
Overall this course is superb, up there with the likes of Trump Doral, the Biltmore, etc... like I said, you give it some time for the fairways to get unpatchy and this will be a 5 star place hands down.

Used to be better, still challenging and a solid course
Used to be in better shape. Pristine as recently as 2015, when I played it last. Still in good shape, but bunkers and the areas surrounding them arent great. Greens rolled nicely.
All in all a more challenging layout than plantation preserve, not as scenic and I prefer the layout of plantation. But in better condition with quicker greens. This was the case a few years ago and it still is - but both are gently going downhill.
We appreciate the constructive criticism and assure you we take your opinion to heart. We work very hard to keep both courses in great shape so it's always disappointing to know when we don't exceed a guest's expectations. We hope you'll be back to the club soon.
Would play again!
An enjoyable course to play. Blue tees were fair with water in play on a few holes but not like some other Florida courses where seemingly every tee shot has a chance to find water. Greens were very fast and true. GPS on carts very helpful to avoid trouble off the tee. Would have liked to play the West course also but vacation is over :( Will play again next time in Fort Lauderdale.

Lightning fast greens
Course is in great condition. Great layout and lightning fast greens. The East course is one of the best courses in the Miami area. Looking forward to playing the West course in the next few days!

Nice course
Course was in great condition. The starter was a little serious but did his job. We had a great pace until we got to hole #8. The second group ahead of us had some trouble on the par 3. No big deal. We all have bad holes. You move on to the next hole and catch back up to the group in front of you. That did not happen .We waited on every hole with no ranger in sight. By hole 15 that group had 2 open holes ahead of them. If you have 5 plus hours to play 18 holes , than this is a course for you

We use the GPS to keep track of the pace and we average about 4 hours for a round. And if a golfer falls behind then a ranger definitely should have spoken to the group slowing everyone down. First Rate Experience
Helpful, friendly bag service greeted me cheerfully at 6:15 AM, even though they didn’t officially open until 6:30. Checkin was a breeze- pro shop gave insight on the course and the layout. Starter was professional and let us head out a few minutes early. Course was in superb shape- not a bump or mark anywhere near any of the pin placements. East course is fun and challenging for a mid handicapper. Hope to play there again soon

Another great day at Jacaranda
Always a. Treat to play these 2 great courses. From gate to gate staff is friendly and welcoming. Facilities are always professionally run from the shop to the maintenance crew. I've never had a negative experience in years of returning to challenge the two well-maintained tracks. The atmosphere seems to bring out my best play so I will definitely be back and recommend that those who haven't treated themselves to this place do so..

Love these two tracks
Played East today. The course is in marvelous shape from tee to green. Greens are fast but fair. Many subtle breaks near the hole.. There are a couple of fairways that have some bad patches that appear to be a disease of some sort but roll your ball a few inches and the grass is perfect.
Pace of play this day was slow. Bernie did his best to keep things moving.
It would be nice to see a combo set of tees indicated on the scorecard, as the drop from 6376 yds. to 5747 is a big gap. Many par 4's at or beyond 400 yds. However, nice course.

I love the East course, in fact I drive almost an hour just to play here. However last Saturday there was a corporate event in foursome in front of us an it took more than 4.5 hours to complete 18 holes. Some of the people participating in the event clearly had never hit a golf ball in their life. Yet the course management didn’t do anything for the regular players waiting behind.
We cannot thank you enough for driving almost an hour to play our East Golf Course! We're so glad you love it THAT much. We are sorry to hear you experienced some slow play during your round. We work hard to keep the pace right around 4 hours for everyone. Thank you for letting us know and we'll be sure to address the issue. We hope you'll be back again soon.
A challenging course in great shape!
Played from the #3 tees and it felt a lot longer than the scorecard indicated. Rain had fallen the night before and so had a few damp spots in the fairways and what felt like a head wind for every hole on the front nine. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in excellent shape. Greens were super fast on the back nine as the wind and sun dried them out. Great layout with a lot of sand and water to make it fun. Would go back again.

Best In SoFlo
It’s always a great experience to play Jacaranda. The course is consistently the best place to play in south Florida. The East course fairways were a little spotty due to some turf damage but not enough to spoil the round. The east and west courses are always above average and I’m confident they will get that corrected. Can’t wait to play there again!!
