About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

Challenging course, worth the money.
Overall we were pleased with the course, its condition and the pace of play since our tee time was 8:51 before the crowds arrived. It was worth the money and was a great day.
Nice track
Enjoyed the course. Could have had a bit more variability off the tee and course in layout in general a bit benign. Tees, fairways, and greens were in great shape and finished under 4hrs. You can tell it’s a well run operation. Would play again and recommend.

Play it
Overall good course. Pace of play was decent few spots that it backed up seems like because of the layout. Multiple tee options for all levels. Fairways in good condition. Greens were okay but inconsistent speed and very firm.

Great staff, 4 hour round on a saturday
Good layout, good staff, great pace of play. Only rated conditions low because I’m spoiled at my home course.

Bad weather
Course was good but the condition not quite as good as in previous years.
We confronted a huge 45 minute storm which flooded the course just after we made the turn. The Club were offering rain credits to everyone but as we had booked a “hot deal” with Golf Now we were told that we would have to contact them direct.
We did so and I was not happy with being told that the course never shut and that therefore we were not entitled to any refund although we were offered some fairly useless coupons!
Not what we expected from an organisation that we have, until now, held in high regard. Frankly Noah and his ark would have struggled to play in such conditions.
Thank you for taking the time to post about your experience at Jacaranda. It's unfortunate that you ran into some terrible weather as we're not used to that this time of the year. When you book a prepaid round through Golf Now they receive that money so we're unable to offer any type of rebate on our end. Local here. This course is the best in the area, no doubt. Other than Trump Doral, it is hard to find a bette kept course open to the public.

Dropped a star this year
Jacaranda is my favourite spot in south Florida. We are Canadian and go down for Christmas every year. We play Jacaranda Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (this year we got an extra round on the 26th).
The staff at Jacaranda cannot do enough for you. They are always the best we deal with in south Florida. The proshop staff are great at getting you set up. The bag drop is always accommodating (they let us leave our clubs between rounds). Jacaranda is one of the few courses that you can get a coffee and bite to eat before teeing off. I don't understand why this isn't normal in south florida.
The East course we played twice this year. The conditions were not up to what I expect from Jacaranda (some dead spot in the fairway and the bunkers could use a some new sand). Overall the course is in good shape and is a fun courses. The East course is a pretty straight forward track that doesn't require a lot of thought to get around but you need some touch around the greens. I hope the conditions are a blip and not the beginning of a trend because I love the place.
