Colina Park Golf Course

Visited family and decided to give this a course shot. Loved the layout and very well maintained. I hit a hole in one on Hole 11 and it will be a shot Ill remember forever. Hope to play again next time I visit

Had multiple negative experiences within the span of an hour after arriving. I'll be as brief as possible.

Went to check in and asked if they had golf carts available. Young man said they have one that is FCFS for people with disabilities or have problems walking. I told him I'm a heart patient and even showed him that I was wearing a heart monitor device. He said it was a hassle to get it for me because it was far away and he would have to close the shop while he does. I told him not to worry then because I don't want to be a hassle.

I was outside waiting for my party to arrive and he came out to ask about my cooler and if there was alcohol inside of it. I was honest and told him there was. He said it's no problem as long as I am discreet around any children while drinking any. My party arrived with an additional cooler than only contained water. At that point he came back out and reprimanded us for having a second cooler. He said that "people will look at us and assume we are drinking alcohol." I'm not sure what he meant by that but since we were 4 young Hispanic males, it seemed like he might have been insinuating that would contribute to peoples assumption that we were drinking alcohol. We told him we wanted no issues and weren't aware of the policies. He snarkely said that we came through a gate with the policies so we should have read them. He then went on to say that one small cooler is fine so we got rid of the other.

The third issue arrived when we got to the 10th hole. A different man approached us and rudely said that "we need to skip the 10th hole because we are playing too slow." We we're not playing slow at all and we're keeping great pace. We even communicated with the party behind us regularly and there were no pace issues whatsoever. I believe we finished the front nine in less than 90 minutes. We still skipped the 10th to be sure we weren't causing any issues and ended up an entire hole ahead of the party behind us.

I went back to the pro shop to express my dissatisfaction with how we were treated and the young man that checked me in pretty much shrugged his shoulders and told me oh well..

Tight little par 3 18 hole course. Quite hilly and compact. Enjoyed playing but it’s a workout if you’re not in shape

There was no available parking for the paying customers..

This course is just amazing. Absolutely pristine and makes for an amazing wedge course and practice play. A must see.
