Colina Park Golf Course
About
Colina Park Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-3 course that has a reputation for having some of the best conditions in the area. The course is an excellent spot for working on your short game. You can leave your driver at home because your wedge and putter will be doing most of the work. The layout is a seemingly short 1,250 yards but it's packed with challenges including more than 10 bunkers, two lakes, and even a few waterfalls. The par 3s range in length from 67 yards to 125. Some of the elevated tee shots can be intimidating and the undulations in the fast greens call for careful course management. Colina Park Golf Club is a course that will test you, no matter what your skill level, and to make it even more appealing, it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the San Diego area.

Beautiful Sunday morning. Photo submitted by RG58540D667BAEE94A9A on 06/14/2021
Great day on the course
Always a great place. The guy working the pro shop wasn’t the friendliest. You would speak to him and he would pull the clubs but no feedback when you spoke to him until paying the bill. Did not enjoy that. Felt like I was bothering him. Other than that ….. we had a good round.
Great Practice for Short Game
I only needed my wedge and putter. Very challenging course for short game and putting.
Would not accommodate
I like this course because of its fast pace and multiple par 3’s so I can work on my short game. This course is set up to work great for individual play if the staff allows. I have golfed by myself there many times. On this date the staff said I would be paired with a threesome, when I asked to golf by myself they refused. So I did not play. No reason whatsoever that I need to be paired up with anyone. The course plays very quick when by myself.
Great for the beginner/short game
Course is great with no holes being over 100yrds. This is great for the novice golfer (such as myself) or those wishing to work on their short game.
Everything was perfect but this one thing
I loved the experience and the course. The greens were very well kept and it was refreshing to work on my short game.
My only complaint would be the timing. I wish the course stayed open past 7pm. In the summer the sun doesn't set until 7:45-8:25pm, which would have allowed my foursome to get through more than 9 holes.
When we left there was still daylight and the worker was already making sure we were getting off the course and clearing out 5 mins before close.
It's challenging enough and super fun! I just wish we could have played longer.
Short, well maintained par 3
Great, short, par 3 course. Really well maintained, very short par 3. Great practice for high numbered clubs.
Great Par 3 Course
After getting up at 2am and driving down from Northern California, checking into the hotel and prepping for a week of San Diego golf, this was the perfect setup to get out and stretch the legs and get some light swings in. Course is 18 individual (not 9 holes twice) that range from 50-109 yards. In fact 16 holes are in the 55-70 yards and two holes are 100-105 yards. Greens are small but appropriate and roll very smooth. Greens have some contours to them to really challenge your putting skills but not overly ridiculous.
Tee boxes are on Mats so you get a clean shot every time.
A forced carry over water on 17 was a nice touch. Just a great little par 3 course
Best short game course in San Diego

#1 staff is awesome hands down. Both while checking in and also making sure players in front of us weren’t slowing us down.
Course is very well maintained for the prices offered.
Always recommending this course to friends

Great Par 3 Course in Mid City
The course is well manicured and staff is friendly. The course is packed in tight and will definitely challenge your short game. Finished 18 holes in about 2 ish hours on a Sunday. You only really need a P and putter, nice to not carry all of my clubs. Overall, really nice course and will be back.
Love this short game course
Course was very well maintained for the admission price. Way better maintained than a more popular course located in Liberty Station. Staff has always been top notch and friendly all times I’ve played here. Layout of course is absolutely beautiful. Always recommending this hidden gem to my golfing buddies that want to zero in on their short game.
Great Short Game
If you need a place to practice your putting and iron game this is the right place! Had a fantastic time walking thru the course!
