Highlight of our trip
Expected a good day but had a great day even though I didn’t play super. Plan to play here again next time I am in Datona. Challenging course design but really fun to play. Price is very reasonable.

Interesting layout, decent winter conditions
A relatively short but tight course that was enjoyable and in decent shape for winter. Played in 4:30 with 4 people.

Hmmmm where do I start ?
I’ve always pondered the question which should you start with, the good news or the bad ? My opinion is you’re gonna hear (or read it) both, with some middle ground too !
I’m a good player, and have played more courses in the area than you’d believe. With that in mind I will say this is one of top routed courses I’ve played. All holes had their own distinguishing features, even the par 3’s were all different and challenging as well. Sorry but that’s pretty much all the positives I can honestly report. Fairways sparse, lacking grass, tees, if you would call them that were barer than Kojack’s
noggin ! The clubhouse wa not open, only the “pro”
shop that had less merchandise than my storage locker, sooo no post round beer with your buds.
Their information page on golf now says 3.5 mill was
spent renovating the property, sorry but I just don’t see it.

Good course
We enjoyed the layout. Greens were fast and true. Fairways had expected thin lies. Good course for men and ladies mid handicap. Many of the fairways were tight especially from white or blue tees. Staff were very friendly. Would play here again.

Enjoy the layout and variety of holes
We played the course twice while in the area. The layout is fair and good for our golf games. The staff is friendly. The pace of play has been just under four hours on the two rounds we played..

Course has really improved over the last 4yrs. But with that said, the pricing is starting to get a little out of hand as well.

The course layout is excellent.
The course layout is excellent, you aren’t standing 10 feet from local residents. The tee boxes and fairways are kept neat. The rough is very playable. The greens are on the fast side but the pin placements are In reasonable positions. The sand traps are in good shape (no gravel, rocks or hard packed dirt). The staff is friendly and professional.

Barely Average
Great value w/ GolfNow. But course not well maintained. Mostly dirt paths except around greens and tee boxes. Many tee boxes were dirt. Only greens in good shape. Tee boxes, bunkers, and many fairways need some work.
