Indian Canyons Golf Resort - North Course

Played this with my family. Christmas gift. This course is truly an experience. Good luck trying to focus on your golf while taking in the incredible views and amazing mid century modern homes. Think of Frank and the rat pack playing this course in the 60’s. Walk the same walk that the legends played. We had a great time and would definitely play again. The staff was wonderful. Take a step back in time and enjoy the course and the views!

Played South yesterday....wonderful. Tried North today, like a different universe. Skip the north.

lots of time to practice, very slow day makes for great experience

Course was ok.nothing spectacular.... compare to others in Palm Desert could use a one fairway tenderness...

Indian Canyons was amazing! I was supposed to play Hemet, but I forgot to confirm my tee time and was stuck with nowhere to play. Decided to drive 1.5 hours to to Palm Springs and couldn’t be happier. Tee boxes were great. Fairways were lush. Greens were green and had good speed. Only bad thing I have to say is the frost delay. Instead of teeing off at 7am, we tee’d off at 8. Not the courses fault. Pretty challenging and local knowledge helped a lot. Shot a 92 which is my avg. Definitely had scoreable holes but I didn’t execute. Good for all types of players. Give it an A+

Greens were fast and nice. The rest of the course needed attention. The fairways were long!

First time playing Indian Canyons and I’d have to say I’m thankful I had a hot deal time to get the price down. The normal tee time price was 2x what my girlfriend and I paid, and that definitely reflected the conditions. The cart path was dirt/mud and overall the layout of the North course is straight, flat, and very forgiving. The overall experience was positive though and the fairways in particular were in great condition. I can imagine the South course is where you get a better deal, and will likely try to play there instead next time.

My friend invited me to play this course and I didn't know what to expect coming from Seattle. I've been to dozens of gold courses in my life and this course has the nicest, friendliest people I've come across. John Murphy helped us out a ton and even got us out early, Huge fan of him, very kind man. I normally don't bother writing reviews, but this one really stood out. Here's why:

I left my watch in the cupholder of my golf cart and not 5 seconds after I gave them my cart, one of the service men came out and handed it to me just as we were driving off. I didn't even realize it was gone! He could've taken it and I wouldn't have noticed until it was already too late!! I appreciated the honesty, not many people would do that. (I didn't catch his name as we were both rushing, had blonde hair, larger man (?)

If you get the pleasure of playing this course, you will enjoy it and the workers there. I took the time to write this review in hopes of giving the guys a pat on the back. Nothing but respect from each and every one of them, especially John.

My only gripe with the course are the greens. Water the grass guys!! haha

Not as challenging as Indian Canyon South. Still a fun course with variety.

Great setting with views of the mountains surrounding Palm Springs. The course conditions were good overall with a few bare spots on the fairways. The greens were tricky but the speed was consistent. The facility is older but in decent shape. I’d be interested to try the south course which is a more recent design. I would play here again.

Greens were in great shape. Fairways are getting better after over seeding. Tee boxes are nice. Blue tees will test your skills.
