It’s ok
Nice layout. Very good service. Fairway bunkers were unplayable and the green condition was so so
Awful, Brutal DO NOT PLAY it
The North course is in horrible shape. Do not play it. It should not be open to the public or at least those playing in shouldn't have to pay anything. It is in that bad a state of repair. Indian Canyon is doing itself a disservice by keeping the North Course in play in the state it is in. They'd be better to close it until proper conditions can be restored.
Beautiful course in shadow of San Jacinto.
Great forgiving course but greens and fairway bunkers are in rough shape. Supposedly covid related so we’ll see next year.
Some Disappointments, some okay
Arrival was crisp but okay, proshop was very good, starter was excellent. Fairways were fine, ,greens bumpy. Beverage cart very good, bar/food service at turn very poor. Exit rushed (for some reason).
Fun course and friendly staff
Indian Canyon North has become our favorite course in the desert! We arrived an hour and half early because we were in the area after running a few errands nearby. Staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. Got us off an hour earlier than our scheduled time! Course was in fine shape, greens were fast but ran true.
Fun, very playable course. My only complaints would be that the bunkers need to have sand, not gravel, and that we neede a marshall to deal with the group behind us that actually hit our cart 11.
Very sad
We used to love this old course, but they have chosen not to properly maintain it. We were told there was not enough seed available to take care of both courses so the south course got it all. That doesn’t explain why the bunkers were practically unplayable. Give your customers a price discount for having to endure this. On the plus side, the staff was outstanding.
Great little track
Great mature course. Best greens we have seen this year in Palm Desert area. Would play it again for sure.
If you want a dog track, this is your course.
This course is in very poor condition. The areas on both sides of the fairways
are raw and uncared for. Greens are rough and unpredictable. I would pay
$39 to play here, but no more.
The greens!!!
Are in bad shape. Bumpy. Make putting extremely difficult. Which would be ok, but there should have been a discounted rate.
Staff was outstanding except for the very grumpy starter.
Otherwise we usually really enjoy this grand old course.
Overpriced for Condition of Course
Love this course, have played many times over the years. Beautiful views, really like the layout. Cart paths have always been marginal, but now you can’t even call them paths. They have not kept up the course and it looks tired, rough, and sad from neglect. Yet, they are still charging top dollar - unfortunately you don’t know the poor conditions until you get out on the course and they already have your $90 (and that was with a discount!) They need to be honest and upfront about the neglected condition, and charge accordingly. I will not be back until they improve conditions. It’s so unfortunate- I fear it’s too far gone to bring back unless they have truckloads of $$$ to throw at it.
Worst greens Not worthy of the title greens
Most uncared for course and worst greens I have ever played on. .will never play it again and will definitely not recommend it . It was our last opportunity to play golf ending off our vacation in Palm Springs. What a huge disappointment. Thought of asking for a refund. Had played Desert Island the day before and had a great day on a great course. Because Indian Canyon was the same price we were expecting more. An extreme example of an neglected course. .
It’s a shame a nice layout is in such poor condition
