“Mighty” Oaks Golf Course is one of South Florida's finest tests of golf. This Fazio masterpiece has Tif eagle greens, which have drawn rave reviews from Nike Tour pros, PGA Tour officials, Golf Channel broadcasters and countless golfers.
The Palm Aire Oaks, named by Florida Golf News as one of the top 100 courses in the state, has hundreds of beautiful Oak and Palm trees.

Nice but a little on the dry side
Paired with a couple from Canada who were very fun! Went to tee box to start and was told by another group they were playing in a group and we would need to wait. The group was late and we were not advised of this by the course staff. We did finish in 4.5 hours. Some tee boxes were sand only, fairways mostly ok with some being quite dry and brown, bunkers had sand, greens were very nice and true. Golfers need to fill divots, rake bunkers, and fix divots on greens. Did not see a ranger. Would like to see more focus on getting garbage picked up around the course. It was good overall!
Could be better,could be worse
Greens were very nic3. Good speed. Tees and fairways should have been overseeing. Many bare or dead spots on tees/fairways.
Stressed Out Staff
Too many people, too few golf carts and volumes of US northerners and Canadiens flying to south Florida to escape the cold. The staff was stressed out attempting to squeeze too many foursomes off. Due to lack of carts relative to the number of people, they wouldn't even let you check-in until 15 minutes before your tee time. Pace of play was incredibly slow...five plus hour round.
Great Greens
Greens were in excellent shape, everything else was in good shape and I had fun.
Favorite course in the Pompano Area
Play here when we come down from Cleveland, Ohio, my favorite local course in the pompano area. Course is very well maintained. Would like to see a 2nd baverage/snack cart or a snack house at the turn. Going to club house at the turn is very out of the way. Even a vending machine would be nice for a quick snack.
5 plus hour rounds
If you want to actually enjoy your round, go to Colony West. Played here numerous times and every single time it’s a five hour round regardless of course. No ranger is on the course enforcing the pace of play, non working bathrooms, and sub par fairways for $80 or more is criminal. As mentioned before go elsewhere
Solid course, terrible food
Had fun, good condition. Feedback: started 15 min late, tee times were backed up. Only saw the cart girl once. Nice lady but a second cute young cart girl would be great on busy days. Terrible sandwhich.
