Fun
Very fun course offering some challenging longer holes with some fun par 3s. Some tricky water features spice things up a bit too!

Best fairways
This was the 4th course we have played this week, and it was the most enjoyable. The Cypress course had very nice fairways, in top condition. We had played the Oaks course last year, and the conditions were not nearly as good.

Good layout. Course could have been in better condition. A little ragged in placed. Good layout. Speed of play was very good.
Good Conditions!
I have played the Cypress course several times in the last few years, and this was the first time this season.
I was told the course was not in good shape, so I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the conditions were. Graff was fuller and the ground wasn't so hard.
great course
great course, par71, long courses, difficult par 3 200 yds, challenging, greens and fairway in great conditions.
Nice greens, course needs investment
The greens are the best part of the course - they are undulating, and can be quick when maintained. The rest of the course is in need of $2-3M of work - t-boxes are ragged, a lot of residential grass creeping in all over the course, traps are inconsistent from fluffy to a dusting of sand over wet clay. This was a country club, now people treat it like a frat house - some of that may be the lack of respect for the rules and proper etiquette, exacerbated by the number of new COVID golfers and out of towners who just don't care.
This course needs major TLC
Now I know why the course was priced so low. The greens were in terrible condition. We saw 3 types of issues on several greens. On one green you would see this green paint like hard covering along with white spots, and then even black spots. This was the case on multiple greens. The cart paths were littered with pot holes that were so bad you had to drive around them which defeats the purpose. There were flooded areas on cart paths. We saw the beverage cart lady once on the front and once on the back plus at the 18th. Her cart was in such bad shape it took a full 5 seconds to get going. She looked at us like "I know right?". This place needs to be shut down until they can make the needed repairs.
