Beautiful
Tough course. Keep away from OB and you might break 85. Lots of water but not hard to manage. Great fairways and greens.
The Oaks Couse was challenging and greens were true.
First time playing this course and I will definitely be back to play again. Challenging course, some narrow fairways, well manicured greens in very good shape and roll true. Sand traps looked nicely taken care off but if you were in them the lip of the trap was alittle intimidating. Was paired up with some regulars and had a terrific time. Good price and easy to get out. Beverage cart came around frequently. Did not eat lunch there so unsure how food is. It looked like a nice place though.
Great Day At Palm-Aire Cypress
Palm-Aire has two Clubhouses. For the Cypress and Oaks courses, you need to drive about a mile into the subdivision to find it, but it's worth the trouble. Practice facilities (driving range, chipping area and putting green) are all well taken care of. The course is laid out beautifully and each hole has it's own challenges, from narrowing fairways, due to encroaching waterways, to hard to reach dogleg turns. It takes a return trip to really take advantage of the layout.
Great layout with some challenging holes
Course was in good condition. Pace of play was reasonable. I hadn't played this course in several years so it took me a while to reconnect with the layout. Still one of the best in the Palm-Aire group of courses.
good value
greens were sanded some, but overall ok. Rest of course was great, good conditions, pace, staff, etc. Definitely a great value for the money.
Oaks
Greens in really good shape played Oaks.. Tree boxes need some work but overall fairways and greens in excellent shape.. Played early so round under 4 hrs.
Nice course
Palm Aire has great courses to play and very challenging. Bring extra balls; a lot of water.
for one time it was ok
we didn`t feel welcome - it didn`t have a lot of flair - something was missing - it was not very challenging
Very nice course
Very nice course in excellent condition. Very nice greens. Not tough but a nice challenge
Just Ok
After playing heron bay in Coral Springs, I noticed that Palm Aire is operated by the same property group, so I decided to give it a try. While not as nice as heron bay, not a bad course. The Staff was absolutely wonderful. Only drawback that really bothered me was the maintenance crews on the course, they lacked any sort of etiquette. One guy was circling the green in a loud toro mower while we were trying to putt, and continued to disrupt as we tee'd off on the next hole. For the money there are plenty of courses I feel I'd rather play. Although, all things considered, not a bad course if your looking to play somewhere new.
Exellent Course
I absolutely love the condition of this course and the greens are in phenomenonal conditions.
great course
greens in good condition, fairways challenging for position
A good challenge for any golfer
The course was in excellent condition. The pace of play was somewhat slow due to and overnight rain storm that prohibited play on the Cypress course . All play was transferred to the Oaks course. The course requires planning in order to score well. Any excessive aggression will find the water hazard which are many. You should treat yourself to the challenges of this course.
Cypress Course - Great Course and Value
Found a $30.00 deal on golf now during early morning. Only took 4:20 during a Sunday which is good in South Florida.
Course was in great shape.
Good greens!
Great gReens on te Oaks Side waiting to play other two up and coming
Golf at Palm Aire Cypress course...NOT!!!!
There was a rain deluge the night before and the Cypress was Under water, therefore we had a play the Oaks course which was Mediocre
Rainy Day Review
Weather forecast said 20% chance of rain, yet it rained practically the entire time we were there, from 1-18 almost non-stop. Anyway, the course is in great shape. Tee boxes are great, greens are in nice shape. However, due to the rain, the course was impossible to play on. This course's drainage system is lacking, at best. HUGE puddles of water on the greens. I had two four-putts and two three-putts on the back nine because I was literally putting through puddles and it was impossible to judge the speed of the greens. Even if you took "relief" it would be on the other side of the green, and even that didn't help much. I understand that my review will be biased since I played on a rainy day, but be warned. If there's going to be rain or it has recently rained near your tee time, you might want to consider playing elsewhere, because you're going to get wet out there. Otherwise, if the weather is good, I would definitely play here again. The course seemed to be in great shape.
Palms is back!
Historically sort of hit and miss, the Palms is in EXCELLENT shape right now! Easily accessible, awesome staff, the fairways are trim and the greens are a good as they've ever been. Play it for sure!
Palm-aire Sigh-press
It was windy. Greens were nice. A lot of OB due to apartments/condos. No GPS or course "book" to assist in layout, shot selection and the like. no bells and whistles or huge thrills- we play 5 in five days- made this our day three- s/h/b 2. Likely wouldn't choose again.
The Cypress is well worth the price
Nice course and fun to play.
18th hole needs a little work though
