Good Experience
Some tee we had to wait a little, but overall pace wasn’t bad for a mid-day Saturday tee time
Dad Miller Conditions
I haven’t played this course in years and was surprised with how well the fairways and greens were maintained. The Ambassador was actually helping move along play on the front nine.
First time
Course condition and particularly the greens were great. They need to improve pace of play as on a few tees we actually had 2 foursomes stacked up in front of us.
Pace of play is slow. Tee boxes flat in nice condition. Fairways need attention. Greens in decent condition could play faster. New cart fleet was nice.
Not worth $70
Surprisingly Good
Have played Dad Miller many times and it's usually as you'd expect for an old municipal course. But this was the first time in a long time that I can remember the course being in this good of shape. The greens are some of the best in the OC. Slightly slow and fluffy, but receptive and rolls true. Fairways have nice coverage and tee boxes in good condition. 15th hole is being modified so a little bit of change there, but overall great conditions at the Dad right now.
Fun course to play but pace was awful. Need to have a starter/marshall to help regulate course.
Like many other reviews the close fairways cause some balls onto the next fairway but we can’t complain as we did some ourselves! Great location and staff and nicely kept.
