River View Golf Course
       About
Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

fun course but...
fun course, very casual, friendly, nice putting green & a driving range but tee off areas need attention. some like 18 are very bad.
18 tee box
They must overhaul tee box on 18. It’s somehow gotten worse and they need to rope it off and fix that entire nightmare
Worst course ive ever played
If the round cost less than $40 its not worth anything. Horrible greens smothered with sand. Fairways not much better than cart path. Pace is terrible.
great day for golf
finally cooler, course is in good shape except for some tee off areas need alot of work.
good pace of play, friendly casual golf!
Worth the challenge
Pace of play was a problem, but a fun course that tests your ability to drive straight.
Lousy course!
Don’t bother with this course even though the rates will seduce you. An old SoCal golf course with not much going for it tucked into the neighborhood with no room or money for improvements. A truly local course for the weekend hackers. It’s where Grandpa and his buddies have the weekday morning tee times and sit around afterwards over a beer or two and talk old times. Imagine a Hollywood Starlet from the 70’s & 80’s whose best days are long gone which pretty much sums up this course. Not worth it.
Great bang for your buck
Depending on your tee time, the pace can get super slow. Be especially wary of Fridays / weekends
Overall, the course was an excellent condition. I really had fun, great value for the money. I’ll definitely play again.
Great Greens, Horrible Tees, Confusing Layout
Greens are on slow side but in excellent condition. Tees need to be temporarily shut down on several holes and redone. Several are virtually unplayable. The riverbed makes it confusing whether it’s a hazard or not. Not defined with red stakes or paint. Feels odd getting the local “free drop” from hitting a bad drive. 9 hole is absolutely the worst hole in OC. Tee is unplayable and the tree overhangs make good shots go in the lake. Blow it up and start over on that one or at a minimum lop off a branch or two to make it fair.
