Castle Creek Country Club

The fairways are very wide and forgiving. They are also very long. The course is pretty and well maintained.

I like this course, Definitely helps to hit the ball straight to avoid the many tree lined fairways. Greens were about 80% though, some rough spots, did not diminish my experience. Great time of year to play.

Fairways are wide and well maintained. Greens are fast. Rarely held up by other players. My favorite course in North County.

We had a pleasant day at this course. The course was pretty well maintained. The cart wasn't very good and there was no where to buy drinks or food. Despite this, we would golf there again if we get a good deal on Golf Now.

This was my first time playing Castle Creek and I was surprised that the course wasn't kept in better shape. The layout is congested and many of the holes run back to back. Play was very slow. The greens were bumpy and damaged. Generally not at all impressed. On the plus side, the snack shack serves hard liquor with a generous pour.

I've always enjoyed Castle Creek and, while the layout hasn't changed, the conditions have. The fairways were nice, the rough was fair and the greens rolled true. Besides, how could I even think of complaining when I never had to wait, was never pressured from behind and my buddy and me finished in less than 3/5 hours? Great day!

Greens were bumpy and not rolling true. Needed to be cut and rolled looked dry in some areas.

Staff friendly enough, pace of play for a Saturday outstanding, greens were kinda torn up, fairways a little dry. Narrow on some holes with a lot of OB so take some extra sleeves. bar inside had a wide selection of beer on tap

The course was is in pretty good shape. The greens were slower than I prefer. Pace of play was good. I've played this course in 5 hours on a weekend

COURSE IS CHALLENGING FOR ALL LEVEL OF GOLFER. FAIRWAYS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND GREENS ROLL TRUE. 10, 11, AND 12 WILL MAKE YOU APPRECIATE THE EUCALYPTUS TREE AND THE NEED TO STAY OUT OF THE FOREST!

I really like Castle Creek. A couple of holes run side by side and present some risk from errant shots, but generally the course is in good shape and presents a good test of golf for the average golfer.

We play just about every Sunday and have no problem getting out on time. Starter is very friendly and pays attention to detail

Timw of play was very slow..We had to wait on every hole. We were a foursome, and there was a twosome ahead of us, but they also had to wait...it took about 5 hrs to play. Never saw any marshall out to try and speed along play whoever was the problem. Greens were in poor shape..Fairways ok. Just a very slow day for play..Wont go back I dont think. We played at 9:30...no beverage cart person was around.

Fairways need some work. Greens are good, I would play again, this lack of rain in so-cal is to blame for the lack if green....

Course in good condition. Great course to tune in your skills.

I've played this course many times over the years, and for the most part have had good experiences. It IS the middle of summer, but I still found the fairways a little brown and barren in quite a few spots. Many of the lies could have been labeled "ground under repair". Greens were O.K., some, very nice, others slow AND bumpy. It was hard to get a consistent "feel" for them. I will be back, but when it cools down a little bit!

Knowing the greens is the key to playing this course. The greens were fantastic. Fast, but not crazy, run-off-the-green fast. Some good risk/reward holes throughout the course. Look forward to playing here again, now that I've seen it and have a better idea of how the greens play. Staff is solid, very helpful. The starter gave me some good intel on the greens before I teed off. Love the 600-yard plus par 5 on the back.

Nice course, good pace of play, but greens are a bit slow.

Greens are ok but a little hairy. Fairways are green but not necessarily pristine. Average difficulty course (but first 3 holes on back are tough). Little pricy at 45 to 50 for condition of course...but worth a visit. Weekday afternoons you can fly thru 18.

Our foursome had a 6:45 tee time yesterday, and were playing at a pretty steady pace. We were keeping pace with a two-some in front of us, and let another two-some play through since we figured they would end up being faster than us. On the third hole, the marshall came to make sure that we kept pace, which I'm fine with. But then we started to notice that he was following us around for the next 6 holes. Our group was starting to get extremely frustrated and our game started to suffer simply because we were all annoyed with him. He disappeared for a few holes, but then showed up again around the 11th or 12th hole and started following us around again. I can understand checking in from time to time just to make sure that pace was being kept, but he was actually driving side by side with my cart, preventing me from even being able to turn to get to my ball. Extremely annoying, and we will never be playing here again after this experience.
