California Oaks Golf Course

This place is in terrible shape. The club house wasn’t even staffed when we got there for our tee time at 10:15. At the turn the guy at the desk tried to charge me again “for the cart” after already playing the front 9. The course itself is in terrible condition. Seems like the only greens they take care of is 9 & 18 because it’s the only ones you can see from the road driving in. Sand tee boxes and dirt fairways. Save your 40 bucks and put it towards literally ANY of the other courses around.

Even though the price is very affordable, the course is in rough shape for most holes.

Some tee boxes are all sand with no little to no grass.

Some greens were sandy as well and some were punched.

This must be the worst maintained course I’ve ever played.

Not the worst I have played but close, in need of some heavy maintenance

This course was the worst place I have ever played. Rough in the fairways on perfect drives and you could lose your ball. It was every hole as well. The course isn’t maintained at all. The greens were bare and dirt showing through. It has a great layout if someone would just take care of the place. I’m stupified as to why, as it is in a nicer community.

I have never left a review of a course before in my life. But I was compelled to leave one so others may fully understand what a dumpster fire this course is. The grass is not cut whatsoever so not losing a ball is almost impossible even in the fairway. The tee boxes are a disaster and there is one hole where this a tree directly in the middle of the fairway. The worst part is you have to go through a security just to get to this disastrous course. They also didn’t have a bathroom you could use. The guy recommended I drive to the nearest fast food restaurant to use the bathroom lol. I felt like I was robbed honestly. This course should just be demolished and turned into a park.

Tee boxes are dirt, greens have foliage on them, the hole #12 looks like a place to ride dirt bikes, not play golf. Sand traps are harder than my dirt driveway. Would be a really fun/tough course if it had better conditions.

Greens poorly taking care of ,bad course condition's over all. Sand traps growing weeds, wouldn’t recommend this course at all.

Unbelievable shape of course!!.tee boxes are all same fairways are 80% dirt!!!

Would recommend to a friend based on price but only with “preferred lies” as the course is heavily consistent of mud, dirt patches, and random patches of high vegetation

This is my first experience at this course, and unfortunately, the layout is horrible. The tee boxes are in poor condition with several potholes, making it difficult to find a stable footing. The fairways have numerous potholes as well, and the bunkers need attention. While the greens appear nice, they are somewhat choppy, causing the ball to bounce rather than roll smoothly. Proceed with caution, as I will be choosing to avoid this course in the future.
