California Oaks Golf Course

Unbelievable shape of course!!.tee boxes are all same fairways are 80% dirt!!!

Would recommend to a friend based on price but only with “preferred lies” as the course is heavily consistent of mud, dirt patches, and random patches of high vegetation

This is my first experience at this course, and unfortunately, the layout is horrible. The tee boxes are in poor condition with several potholes, making it difficult to find a stable footing. The fairways have numerous potholes as well, and the bunkers need attention. While the greens appear nice, they are somewhat choppy, causing the ball to bounce rather than roll smoothly. Proceed with caution, as I will be choosing to avoid this course in the future.

Will not be playing this course again. Should not cost more than $20 a round at the condition it’s in.

It’s like playing golf on a hiking trail every hole.

Got there early. 9 people total waiting for the first tee box so they need to do better for scheduling the course out. The course conditions are terrible.

No grass or green in the tee boxes. The course conditions are bad. The course isn’t maintained so if you slice your shot, good luck finding your ball.

The course isn’t worth 55 bucks per round, let alone 20 bucks.

Expecting and asking for tips is totally unprofessional as well. “Tip for maintaining and cleaning carts.” It was the second time I’ve been asked for a tip. Do better people.

I’d go back for a golf now app deal but that’s about it. I won’t pay 55 bucks a round again.

If you’re using a cart with a hot deal, don’t bother since it comes out to the same price. $20 PER PERSON on the carts. Course is trash and was a mess around course but now it’s not worth it

The fairways are about 50% dirt. Golf carts are 40$

First signed up for an online offer which includes a cart only to find that the golf course does not honor the offer and "does not recommend" booking anywhere but through them. After being charged more to rent the carts than it would cost to have just booked a round through them got out to a course in shambles. It's understandable if the fairways and rough are in poor condition because it is winter but the entire course even the bunkers are horrid. The layout was good but that is the only thing nice I could say about the course.

The pace of play was a joke. When my foursome which included 2 new players and a junior golfer are consistently waiting at every hole something is wrong. Unfortunately this course is a no go for anyone looking to enjoy a round.

From disc golfers to gophers this course isn’t worth the time conditions are not playable

All the fairways were dead. Tee boxes were the worst. No grass, holes, not clearly marked. The greens were overgrown and had fungus, numerous dead patches. Cheap to play and now I know why. Best thing that could happen is the course could close. Save your money do not play this course.

Very friendly staff

By far California Oaks is the worst golf course out of all the courses I played in Southern California. Every Tee Box was unmaintained just like every fairway, also every bunker is completely destroyed with vegetation and weeds. The conditions are so poorly maintained that you will be guaranteed to lose at least 5 golf balls. My group payed $39.00 each to play at 12:30pm on a Sunday, but even for that price it's absurd on how horrendous this golf course is. Absolutely save your money and select another golf course.
