CrossCreek Golf Club
About
Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Hole #1 Photo submitted by joeskiluv31 on 12/30/2012
Course in good shape, Only a couple negaives:,the 2010 GPS system that was blinking all round, and the greens on front 9. A couple were damged and they were slower and more damaged by divots than the back 9. Back 9 greens were smooth and rollin.
Great Choice in Temecula
This course consistently provides a great experience, from staff to course, always a pleasant experience.
Course conditions are near perfect, nothing possible to complain.
It's playable for all levels with four different tee boxes. Greens are tough, so get some practice in before rolling out.
Fun layout with a lot of potential
WATCH FOR POISON OAK ON THE BACK NINE
First time playing and was overall a fun track. Back is definitely more fun than the front. Cart gps is very vintage and no hole map anywhere on the scorecard or course. If you haven't played it before you have no idea where to hit it on a lot of holes. There's no cell service on the course either so do your research before you play.
Greens are tricky and firm but we got them in nice shape. Fairways were decent, tee boxes wouldn't be considered level by any means. 5+ hour round, no beverage cart on a Sunday which is crazy.
Some great views and fun holes that forces shots that you don't make at a lot of courses around here. With some maintenance this place could be a gem.
A fine course
Not pristine by any means, but interesting holes and it's maintained well-enough. Worth it for a round but probably would try other courses in the area next time I'm back.
Beware Pace of Play and Course Conditions
Course is in terrible shape. Wondering if someone turned the water off. Greens are like marble. Pace of play was very slow, 5.5 hours for the round. JC Resorts has their hands full turning Cross Creek around and making it playable.
Excellent course
The course was in excellent shape on the greens and fairways. They completed their proshop and restaurant. The pace of play was great. One thing to consider is there is no cellular coverage at least 90% of the course.
Great all around.
If i had to complain the greens arent perfect. Besides that great course, reasonably priced. Excellent work guys 👍🏽
Pace of play
Would’ve been a 7 hour round for a 2some at 10:20 if we decided to stay. Left on the 15th hole passing people in the trees looking for their balls all day. No Marshall keeping groups on pace. They stacking tee times to pay for their new clubhouse apperently. Very disappointed.
Nice course, but…
This would have been a great course, but the conditions were just okay. Punched greens, which wasn’t mentioned at time of booking or at check in. Always disappointing to find out once you walk up to the first green.
Serene atmosphere
The course was the same as I expected. It was very serene and warm because it is situated in a valley along a gentle hill. I could feel the soft breeze deeply penetrating the valley from the distant ocean. I felt very comfortable in the course. I love this course and strongly recommend it to my acquaintances.
Beautiful course
Only issue is no phone reception, which might not be a bad thing necessarily unless there is an emergency. Lots of wild life, loved it! Can’t wait to come back.
Pristine Golf In De Luz
I've been playing Cross Creek Golf for many years. Course is in great shape and pro shop folks are the best!
Fun back 9 but there are much better values
Booked a tee time not knowing they were hosting a tournament. All resources were dedicated to the tournament and pace of play was absurdly slow. It was almost a 6 hour round. Really felt like customer experience today for paying players didn’t really matter because of the trournament. If you can’t provide a good customer experience and host a tournament then don’t offer the tee times. Course condition was disappointing for a $100 round. Tee boxes not cut and not flat. Disappointed because I was really looking forward to playing here. Nice people working there though. I thoight the back nine from a course design perspective was really fun actually. I wish I could have played without waiting 15 minutes on every hole. I drove 45 minutes to this course and there are nicer and less expensive courses close to home.
